I know it is early to think about the next game and all, but if we win against colorado, then do we get the home game against San Jose? I hope so as it was mostly the only reason I rooted for them last night. That and I hate NY!
Yes, it would be a home game vs San Jose. Any team moving from the other conference for playoff purposes automatically takes the lower seeds in the "new" conference. I think it was Mitchell or Neil Sika who tweeted the rumor that the game would be next Saturday on FSC. (I'm assuming a night game.) Of course, the other matchup would be Colorado hosting San Jose in a complete joke of an ECF.
The conference final will be played Saturday in Commerce City, CO, because we have absolutely no chance beating them. /spits
Shit, you got to be kidding me. Well we are formally ********ed for tomorrow. Thanks feg. Can we lock and delete Hard Hat before its too late, it already is though...Im so pissed.
Right, because things posted on this board have such a direct influence on what happens on the field. For example, just look at all the goals Griffit has scored in his last ten consecutive starts....
You know you all ought to accept Jesus Christ as your personal lord and savior and forget about all this voodoo mumbo jumbo and the jinxes.
Aren't the high school state finals all day next Friday and Saturday at the stadium? I'm guessing the final would have to be played on Sunday. Also, with an Ohio State homegame at 3:30, a soccer game on Saturday wouldn't be ideal.
Well, clearly I do not believe in jinxes. It is what people use to avoid taking responsibility for their actions or lack of ability. Thanks for the info. I will be there Saturday and hopefully the following Saturday as well.
Boys play Friday and Girls play Saturday at 10am (II) and 1:30pm (I) so that wouldn't be an issue (plus it clearly states that they are 'subject to change' on the website). With the OSU game as long as they make it an 8pm time slot (8:15 KO) I think they'd be ok.
This thread is a bad idea, but since it's already here, I'll point out that ticketmaster has updated their conference final page and it now shows: Columbus Crew v San Jose Earthquakes Saturday, November 13, 7:30pm http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0500452DC432A56F?artistid=805928&majorcatid=10004&minorcatid=11 So if we win, it looks like Saturday night is set in stone.
Let's just try to focus on tomorrow. The fact that NY lost does make it tasty, though I'll point out, they were the only playoff team we managed to beat twice.
