Was wondering who's heard anything about TV coverage of the Confederations Cup in nations along this part of the Pacific Rim? Specifically, in Australia, but in New Zealand as well... I'm assuming that SBS will have some sort of coverage, and particularly on the "World Game" TV show on Sunday afternoons, but that's probably going to be highlight packages with a pro-Euro slant, if anything. If anyone's got any information, please post it here.
The New Zealand games are being broadcast live in New Zealand on Sky Sport: NZ vs Japan Thursday 19th June 4am NZ vs Columbia Saturday 21st June 5am NZ vs France Monday 23rd June 7am Crowdie.
Thanks for that, Crowdie. Is that the extent to which Sky is showing the tournament for its NZ audience? Just the All Whites games, that is? Any word on the tournament being shown on Australian television, either on pay-cable or free-to-air? Right now, I'd settle for the Eurosnob bias on SBS right about now, just as long as they would show some USA and NZ matches.
