This is sort of off topic, but I am a Yank and I'll be abroad with my U-13 Boys Soccer Team playing in the FULDA CUP in Germany....anyone one in Germany know if we'll get to see the USA matches on German TV?
I haven't seen any channel that is willing to cover it. In fact DSF and Eurosport are the only candidates. Eurosport won't get the rights as they broadcast europewide (the big channels of the participating nations will get the rights for their territory, which leaves Eurosport outside). DSF probably doesn't see a good chance to get good ratings with the Confed Cup. Might be that they think about it again after realising that otherwise not much happens at that time, but I think that FIFA demands more than DSF is willing to pay. After all, Confed Cup is not popular over here; the only mentioning I saw was the news that Berhalter and Cherundolo were named for the US roster.
British Eurosport is showing all the games as far as I could find on their website (www.eurosport.com), some games live, others delayed, all the US frist round matches were set to be aired live, so thats a plus.
Eurosport will show it! 19.06./19:00 (7.00 PM) (LIVE) FIFA Confederations Cup 2003 in Frankreich Gruppe B: Türkei - USA (Übertragung aus St. Etienne) http://www.eurosport.de/static_file...portid=10000&personid=17&venueid=1&Gener=true
Hello? Thanks for the Info...hope to see the US play on TV while we are in Germany. Looked at going to Lyon, but seems too far.
First two US group games are live on Eurosport. They'll choose the third game after the previous games are played; unless Brazil vs Turkey is meaningless there are little chances that they cover USA vs Cameroon though.
