Confederation's Cup FAQ (Including TV Stuff) Confederations Cup FAQ NO ENGLISH LANGUAGE BROADCASTS TV Schedule It's too hard to maintain 2 threads, so check the link above for info. Be sure to verify you've got the right game times since we've just received news that all weekday games will be shown on same day delay at 7pm and 9pm ET for the East feed and 7pm and 9pm PT for the West feed. New threads asking about tv will be closed. Please check the above links for info. Thanks, Nancy
A link that provides some Spanish vocab. Thanks for the bs poster who dug it up, but whose name escapes me: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=53277
Big Soccer Discussion on Galavision and Telefutura Galavision is cable. On my cable it's basic cable. Telefutura is broadcast, but doesn't reach all areas.
what about TV for the Semis and Finals. Any English speaking TV going to carry our victories in either of these two games? I'm not fortunate enough to get any of the Spanish stations here in Greenville, SC.
Re: what man I'm in the same boat. Does anybody know if there will be any English Internet radio broadcasts?
I've never heard of Galavision. Did Univision change its name, or is it just a channel I don't have access to in MN?
Galavision is different from Univision. I only get Univision, but I believe they're the same company.
Yes!! Looks like at least the first two, and hopefully the third as well, will be on live on Eurosport. Thank God for Eurosport.
What's the link? I assume this is radio only. I'll be at work during the first game so I should be able to listen. RK
Try this: http://www.eurosport.co.uk/static_f...sportid=10000&personid=8&venueid=2&Gener=true I didn't know Eurosport did radio broadcasts? I'll be watching it on TV here in Europe, but I don't know where you're located.
I don't know if they do have radio. That was sort of my question. Someone earlier in the thread mentioned internet broadcasts and I assumed they meant radio. I've never heard of Eurosport. Then agian here in Greenville, SC we haven't heard of a lot of things. RK
I'm sure there'll be a webcast somewhere, although I'm not exactly sure where. You could also follow the live ticker at ussoccer.com, which is better than a stiff kick in the groin.
Confederation's Cup FAQ (Including TV Stuff) UNREAL, the US finally playing some good teams and there is no broadcast in english?? Its no wonder soccer is a bottom rung sport. PATHETIC!!!!!
I notice the listed times on Galavision and Telefutura's sites don't jibe with US Soccer's times. They show the matches as taped on the networks sites, but US Soccer shows them as live. What gives? Here's what the networks sites show en ingles. Thursday, June 19th 6:00pm - 8:00pm CT Turkey vs. United States----Galavisión Saturday, June 21st 2:00pm - 4:00pm CT Brazil vs. United States -----Telefutura Monday, June 23rd 8:00pm - 10:00pm CT United States vs. Cameroon-Galavisión Kevin
Nancyb needs to change the schedule on the 1st page if the news that none of the weekday matches will be show live is true. Some who are traveling and setting their VCRs are going to be pissed. https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=54198
Telefuture is available in the following markets on UHF. Might be time to pull out the old rabbit ears on stand there with a metal hanger in your hand... (Boston Ch. 66, Chicago Ch. 60, Dallas Ch. 49, Houston Ch. 67, Los Angeles Ch. 46, Miami Ch. 69, New York Ch. 68, Orlando Ch. 43, San Francisco Ch. 66, Tampa Ch. 50, Washington D.C. Ch. 14)
Go ahead and rub it in. Actually, I'm lucky my family will be out of town Thursday, so I can go to a bar and watch the game without guilt.
Unlike Nancyb, I also get all those channels. I can't imagine life without them. I won't have to worry about seeing Freddy and Friends in Finland either.
http://www.soccertimes.com/international/2003/jun14.htm It says Galavision is now longer showing the US games live. This really screws up my plans for that day, I have already taken it off so I could enjoy the day at Summer's.
