Yeah, but he was a player we had never seen before in our pool (and haven't replicated since). Speed, strength, tenacity, and I really emphasize the tenancity. Ball skill aside (I know, not a minor thing), but our pool has severely lacked that 'selfish' stop at nothing striker (like an Aguero, Tevez) who have such a hunger, drive and fearlessness near the goal and always looking to attack further from goal. That is what I saw in Davies during the summer of 2009. I may be waxing poetically, it may have only been a hot streak, but based on his determination to even make it back to the level he is currently at, Charlie seemed to have that gleam to have been a special player in the pool
