Terrible ending! Losing to Brazil 3-0 and 6-1 is unacceptable. The plus side is that we won 3-2 over Ecuador and Acosta may get fired

    Starting:

    1) Call for Acosta's Resignation

    2) Remodel ANFP, and have it start running like a corporation; Harold Mayne-Nicholls doesn't have the experience for it, he's a former journalist slash photographer, he should be running a certain department withint ANFP not in charge.

Different members within the organization need to be replaced, There are 2 Vice Presidents!!! Two guys that are doing absolutely nothing, aren't even able to coordinate proper travel plans.

    3) Construct a newer stadium, that centers on security/beauty....start anew leave the old memories behind and create new ones.

    4) Probably before anything immeditely hire a new Manager that may get the job done, immaculate background and offer to pay exuberant amounts of money, build certain clauses in the contract.

    5) Schedule at least 2 more friendlies before the eliminatorias, teams should be ranked among the top 25 to 30. They should have a better ranking than we do, not the opposite.

    6) Certain players cannot play anymore, Vargas, Contreras, and Navia, Tello, and Valdivia are done. Their exclusion must be the example, we can't be a society that furthers allows such immature and blatant acts vandalism, they are representing a country in an international tournament.

Players have proven that they are in need of a leader, someone stern, their irresponsibilites are not only reflections of themselves, but of an organization that cannot take control of a situation.

I agree with everything. I might disagree a little on Mayne-Nicholls. He's got the political connections in worls soccer and that must count for something. I can agree with him being the president if he hires a CEO.

I agree it is not going to happen because we lack the balls to make the changes that matter in time. How the hell do we fight this?

After watching Mexico vs. Paraguay, losing to 5 time world cup champions Brazil doesn't feel so bad.

Eh, Valdivia is our best midfielder. He is an extremley talented player that made a mistake. We have to give this kid another chance. Seriously, he is too important to just kick him out. He is a rare talent.

Not to be a dick, because I see where you're coming from, but if examplary measures are not taken...where do we draw the line?

Turns out Pinillia isn't the only one affected this superstar status they've annointed themselves with.

I'd rather set those guilty parties apart and have them stricken from the national team indefinetely, we can't have stuff like this occuring. Inaction would only create a precedent.

Keep harnessing the youth teams, and have players like Vidangossy start filling those roles in the years to come.

Valdivia has talent, Pinilla does not. Valdivia is a star in brazil, Pinilla was nothing in portugal. Valdivia has played well for the national team. He wasnt at his best during this cup, but he was not bad, and he was amazing against argentina prior to the cup. Valdivia is captain, he actually cares about the team, he made a stupid mistake.

This whole thing is being blown out of proportion in order to kick out acosta it seems. I want him out, but these were just some guys getting drunk in their hotel room. Was it a mistake? Yes. However, players have done worst things, people should get second chances.

Vidangossy is not close to being ready to being a midfield general. Right now he is more of an individual player rather than a guy that can distribute the ball.

If Mark Gonzalez can play, why should valdivia be kicked out of the team? Valdivia is very young, let him publicly apologize and give him another chance. Kick out Navia because this is his SECOND time.

Have him apologize after he holds his own press conference, giving him more publicity?

Vidangossy is young, that's true, yet he's on his way to Villarreal, and will be furthered mentored by Pelligrini, the one DT that all of Chile looks up to.

The eliminatorias is a 2 year process, Vidangossy or Sanchez will only get more mature as time goes by. This isn't even including, players like Vidal, and what Sulantay has done is build a group of individuals, and made them into a team, that and discipline has gotten Chile some positive results.

I agree that Valdivia is young and should get another chance, but he needs to be punished for a time, a slap on the wrist isn't enough, the message won't get through.

Put it his way I'm watching Chile vs. Brazil and I have to hear the announcers and commentators talk endlessly about that hotel incident, which isn't the first time to occur in Chilean football, then watch them get beat 6-1.

There's no point in building a new stadium if people are not going to go. Security needs to be put in place first and even then the culture of Chilean Football needs to change, the attitude of the people needs to change, look at Argentina. Their stadiums are always full(sure they have more people) but for Chileans who in general have more money than Argentinians due to the economy, the passion for the game is not there and unless the culture changes, the new generation of players will not be better, nor will Chilean football get any better. No one is doing anything to improve the situation. Matias Fernandez's should be produced yearly rather than once every 10 years.

Valdivia is not done, that's a ridiculous statement.

What Valdivia and company did in Venezuela is ridiculous.

and how is ever building newer stadiums pointless? Erecting a stadium that enables full security measures, while being aesthetically appealing can only be a positive thing.

The current Estadio Nacional does not suffer from having low attendance when Chile plays an Eliminatorias
