Sad week , Honduras, Mexico , USA all out .
All teams have a solid foundation with players that can be used for the next WC ,
I think CONCACAF will just get better .

    absolutely agree
mexico's ceiling with their young players is looking higher and higher

everytime i see el chicharito he leaves me amazed how he came out of nowhere and how now he is a true gem, amazing player, and good goal scorer

Agreed, expecting good results for 2014. Mexico has always performed well in South America and the US performes well anywhere outside of Europe.

I hope CONCACAF is getting better because I wonder if the lack of quality opponents is holding the US and Mexico back.

That's a bad excuse. In the WC, you either click at the right time or not.

It's a combination of things. Quality, coaching, tema spirit, and a little luck.

Mexico has always fared well in the Copa America and once Honduras was invited and finished 3rd place beating Brazil on their way.

I think both Mexico and the US have the quality to qualify out of South America.

You´re acting like we get smoked every time we play you in meaningful competition. Costa Rica has gotten out of the first round in the Copa America, both Honduras and the USA have reached the semifinals, and Mexico has reached the finals twice. This considering our teams haven´t competed there for very long, and Mexico are now forced to handicap themselves with an under-23 squad (I wonder why.)

Brazil on the other hand lost both times it entered the Gold Cup, both to Mexico and the USA.
