Preston North End is 6 minutes of away from beating premiership side Birmingham 2-0 in an English Cup match. The first goal was scored by Jamaican international Ricardo Fuller, off a beautiful cross from US international Eddie Lewis. Lewis is on the right flank today, rather than his customary left flank position. Lewis scored the 2nd goal, which happens to be his first for his new club. Lewis and Fuller have been playing very well together, with Lewis with 3 assists in his last 3 matches, and Fuller scoring 2 goals in his last 2 matches. Concacaf is in da house

Good for Lewis! I think Lewis started on the left and was switched to the right after halftime...

And Wigan, anchored by Canadian and Club Captain Jason De Vos keep a clean sheet against Man City in a 1-nil victory, De Vos in particular being singled out by the BBC commentators for his play.

Yep, I followed that game as well. It's really nice to see our boys showing their mettle against premiership sides. DeVos has outstanding from what I've read.

Are these Worthington Cup or FA Cup matches?

    Nevermind. Just looked it up.

Hopefully SkySportsNews will show the highlights tonight!
