I didn't receive that email, but I purchased via the US Supporters lottery. I'm looking at my tickets right now, and the very top right hand corner under "Admission" it says "USLOT". I'm assuming that's what they're referencing?
I have additional tickets in 2H, lower bowl. US Supporters only. PM me if interested or have leads. The people I'm going are US supporters but preferred the neutral section closer to midfield. I've got mixed feelings about it.
I have two tickets available sitting next to 3 USA fan friends of mine. Section 1-H row 54, $140 each (what I paid after shipping and fees). Can pm me or text at 202----285-----9772 if interested. Not trying to make a profit here, would just like to get them in the hands of some USA fans and get back what I paid. Thanks!
For those of you in the area do you think the big Mets-Dodgers series which is going to be played at around the same time is going to effect Rose Bowl traffic too? I am not going to the match but was curious.
The traffic alert message I got was he is in LA on Saturday (on the west side) and not leaving for San Diego until early evening. Wouldn't seem likely to impact those anywhere near the game. Oh, and I've still got tickets. Not looking to make a profit off US supporters but would ideally recoup what I'm out.
I'm taking the USA bus from Carson to the rose bowl. Bus leaves at 4. I sure hope we make it in time. Bit worried tbh
Yes indeed. well the game is at 6:30 I seen instead of 6. Takes about an hour with traffic apparently still I assume more than just an hour. Be a lot of people disappointed if we are late
I have one ticket available for tomorrow's game. Face value. I am in LA right now. $107. Section 27. Call or text me 856-359-6489
Three tickets available in section 2-H Staying at the Marriott courtyard in Pasadena. Will be catching the shuttle to stadium. Text me 281-782-8017 if interested.
I estimate the crowd at 75% Mexico Support/25% US Support. I bought tickets through the USSSC presale. My wife and I were in a predominately to almost exclusively Mexico section. Not a problem in the least. Our neighbors were good fans and, um, neighborly. The Rose Bowl is glorious, although last night, a more apt name would have been Estadio Azteca Norte de Pasadena.
Great atmosphere. The Parking lot was fun would estimate about 70-30 in favor of Mexico fans. My experience was entirely positive. Walking through the parking lot you would get the goal kick "********" as you walked past in a US jersey but was followed by laughing and smiles nothing aggressive at all. In the stadium I was in the AO section so completely surrounded by US fans. It was a complete sell out and it looked like the entire stadium stood for the whole match. Atmosphere was tense so not a lot of chanting or singing (more from our end I think) but all 93,000 people were living and dying with every pass and shot. This wasn't a match for taking selfies or checking out the vendors. You sensed that from both sides. Everything about the trip was great except the result . (well and the bus company)
I concur. After the second US goal was the only time I heard the 'I belive we will win". Lots of oles, 'Cielito Lindo' (specially after second goal), and of course, 'eehhhhhhhhhhhhhh putooooooooooooo' every time Guzan punted. Great atmosphere. And like the poster said, never with any malice. I shook hands/fist bumped with all 8-10 US fans within 3 rows of me. Everything was great.
It was so great. Stood the whole time and lost my voice. I was to the side of the curve with the AO, surrounded by green. I asked a Nats fan where the US section is. "You're in the US section." Put me down for the next concacaf cash grab of this magnitude. Saw this at a tailgate.
The atmosphere was substantially better than in 2011. The result still stings, but it was great to see so many USA fans out there.
