So if I'm looking to get tickets in the midfield is there a side that will be more for USA supporters?
I bought a few tickets with my friend because we had a group going to make the trek out to the game, but it looks like we may not be able to go anymore. We've got a few tickets that are about half way up and about even with the top of the box, USA side. I believe we paid $150 for them, including the fees. If anyone is interested, or know anyone that is interested, let me know. Reply, message or email me at dgd0604@gmail.com
So... neither me nor my friend who entered the lottery and put "USA" as our fandom choice got the email. But two guys I know who put "Mexico" and one guy who put "Soccer" got their emails. Hmph!
If you put USA your choices are low because USSoccer gave out a lot of codes before the lottery. Mex has a lot of open seats behind the goal and in corners, even some GA left. If you put general there are still some great seats available for 130. I got 6 in section 19H row 43
I registered for the free US Soccer membership a few months ago which should have allowed me access to the Advance presale. I didn't get that email. I registered for the CONCACAF lottery, and unless I get an email later today, I won't get that email. Does it annoy anyone else that people were able to purchase 6 tickets and just put them up on Stubhub asking double when there are people who actually won't to go to the game? I shouldn't have to pay double. I could see a lot of seats being empty because of this. I was planning on making a little weekend trip out of this with my 6 year old, meaning that we would need hotel and flights. I've been holding off on booking anything until I figured out the tickets. I don't want to have to pay $200 per ticket for crap tickets. Does anyone know when the public sale will occur?
Last US/Mex match I attended was the WCQ at Azteca in 2009...I do not expect the same hostility this time around since we are "home". Is there consensus on what color most US fans will wear for this match? Thanks, Matt
Sooo I maybe a little late....but where are we at with ticket availability? Am I too late? If not where the hell do I purchase them? Any info is appreciated.
You have to get with the times. US Soccer tweeted a link to get a code to buy tickets the next day which was the day after their pre-sale started. It was super easy to get tickets. I had more trouble getting my friends to confirm they wanted a ticket then to actually get the tickets.
$40 parking if you have less than 4 in the vehicle, I do not think they even did that for the USC v. UCLA games. Seems like price gouging because it is a "Sellout". As of now it looks like my vehicle will only have 3 in it.
whaaat? it's always $20-25 for every single tailgate I've been to...UCLA vs USC or UCLA vs anyone, I just went last Sat for the BYU game
This game seems like a mess, first with ticketing and now with tailgating. AO had on their website that the official tailgate would start at Noon on Saturday...............CONCAFAF sent out an email Friday saying that the Rose Bowl parking lots will not open until 2 pm for tailgating..................It just seems strange that CONCAFAF is encouraging fans to arrive early and spend all day with pre-game activities but not opening the parking lot until 2 pm.
So I was selected to purchase tickets on the U.S. side and purchased 3 in the 1-L section. Will the entire south side be U.S. fans and what sections does south consist of exactly? I know my section is a bit outside the A.O. sections. So I'm wondering if I'll be surrounded by other U.S. fans.
The standard is 6 hours before game time for everything else I have been to at the Rosebowl but for some reason this game is 2pm. I am hoping it does not take a long time to get parked causing tailgating to feel rushed. $40 for only a couple hours of tailgating is extremely lame.
