3. Yeah, KU basketball is going to suck sometime soon, whatever. Roy is well on his way to breaking the all-time wins in the next 15+ years he coaches here. As long as Roy is at the helm, I am not worried one single bit. And once he passes it on to someone else, I'm sure they will be fully qualified to fill his shoes. 4. Haha... ok, well obviously I meant to the fans. Sure the KU and MU shuffleboard teams have a rivalry with each other, that's a given.
<sarcasm>Hey isn't this thread supposed to be about visiting fans from Colorado?</sarcasm> Serious question, are there any decent coffee/water/restroom stops on I-70? Anything like Iowa 80 or should we just go to any one if we need caffiene? Looking forward to Sat.
Holy shvte are the flies BIG in Russell. They're slow as shvte, but can carry away small children for lunch. Basically, there's...nothing...for 600 miles.
The only luck you will have for caffine is the soda machines at the rest area every 100 or so miles in the middle of no where, I mean western Kansas.
Bayer Advantage Prettiest Pet Contest On Saturday, September 14th, Bayer Advantage will select Kansas City’s prettiest pet in the Bayer Advantage Prettiest Pet Contest. The Grand Prize winners will receive a prize package including a one-year supply of Advantage, four tickets to the Wizards game, $100 cash prize and a Wizards prize pack. For more information on Bayer Advantage visit www.nofleas.com. This is quickly making me reconsider this road trip. You Kansas folk scare the hell out of me sometimes You have the WhizBangers and you're looking at pets?
Yeah, the 672nd bush on the right has a newly installed coke machine hidden directly behind it. Other than that, it's whatever gas station you can scrounge.
Are you kidding? I thought some of the WhizBangers were pretty hot, as were Miss Kansas and Miss MO, the last time I was there...
Yes, while some (me included after a few drinks) have been known to put them down, some of them are pretty hot. For me its just the fact that cheerleaders do not belong at a soccer game.
I had no problem with them when they were right in front of me Acutally I guess it was a little hard to focus on the game with scatterd arse right there...
hey you River Ratz guys better stop by our tailgate to get your fill of free beer! I gotta drain this damned keg...
Damn... now here's the dilemma, do I goto the Wizards game and get hammered off a pre-game keg, or do I goto the KU football game and since all my friends are getting a keg, get hammered there? Oh wait... I can't do either, I have to work. Could a worse day been picked for me to forget to ask off? Nope. Have fun guys. Jeff and Al, if I'm down on Mass. st. later on tonight, I'll give you a call.
wcgcapone and I thank everybody big-time for their hospitality last night. Big thanks for the beer, everything. Let us know whenever you're out this way and it'll be returned. Lucid, we were only on Mass. Ave for maybe an hour, both of us were wiped out.
