Plus, with the seats being yellow and silver, black would show up best. This also works since other than the opener, we don't have a game starting earlier than 730 all season and people won't complain too much about being in black and being too hot.

It's also easier for casual fans and first timers to "match" the black color as opposed to matching the "gold" or "yellow" that the Crew uses. Plus, you see the whole "black out" stuff in other stadiums, and it would be cool to have certain games where the enter corner was blacked out.

Are the "100+ explore Columbus OSU" people a certianty? I ask because at last year's Crew career fair (for the early season NE game), everyone who attended the career fair also got a ticket to sit in 103. Compared to the number of people at the career fair, 103 was empty.
I dunno, that seems quite optimistic to me. It is the 1st week of classes and I don't think explore columbus has done too well in the past as far as Crew tickets are concerned (not including the LA Beckhams last year). I'd be willing to bet that there won't be more than 20 tickets sold through that. Now if they(the Crew) were able to run a bus from the dorms/campus to the stadium and back, it might be a different story.
This deal is quite popular really and they often sell out their tickets for each game. I mean it's crazy what you get for $10: 1 ticket in Upper Sideline level $5 food voucher FREE transportation T-shirt (for the first 500 tickets purchased) You read that right, they are doing a shuttle this game, hopefully this continues.
