So do we blame LAFC and their thug mindset for missing out on the prop?

This might be a controversial take, but we soccered really good tonight.

I like the fight from Hinestroza. Dude got barreled from behind, I don’t blame him at all for standing his ground. Definitely dumb to do it in stoppage time of a game that’s in hand, but oh well. He’s like Cucho, they both have to play with a flame under their butt to perform and that will naturally lead to a red like that every once in a while.

Surprised VAR did not have a look.

    Can reds be appealed still?

Pretty sure they can. All I saw was the one replay, I was looking for an LAFC player throwing a punch and wasn't looking at hinestrozas hand to see ifnit was open or closed.

If it was open, I think you could make a case for him.

What are we up to now, 20 and 2 goal differential in the last 5 games? This Cucho, Rossi, and Ramirez thing has been working out pretty damn well. What took so long to get all three out on the field together? I was beginning to think Ramirez was in the dog house there for a while.

How many late goals have been given up this year? Been a point of consternation for the past few seasons and it's gotta be a lot better this year.

On the replay I saw, Hinestroza swung a forearm and grazed the guy's chin. It's a red.

I'll take your word for it. Hinestroza is at best, a bit piece at this point, so he's no real loss for us.

He also could have let it go to Farsi but I think he just initially missed judged it and got caught in no man’s land.

And the people in the know think JRR is very promising for an MLS striker. He can take Hinestroza's spot Wednesday. Hinestroza looked like he clicked into the system tonight for maybe the first time

I remember some game when JRR was playing and had a nice goal that the announcers said they talked with Nancy about him and Nancy is very high on his finishing and ability to strike the ball. Very good technical ability.

Nice and all, but hard to give him meaningful minutes with Rossi, Cucho, and Ramierez playing like they are.

We need JRR to play meaningful minutes down the stretch so that CR17 can stay healthy for playoffs.

Just like Nagbes work on Matans goal - excellent strike from Matan, but great effort from Nagbe to win it back and create the opportunity.

We are now 4th in the league in PPG, and we have enough points in hand to catch both of the teams in front of us.

I really wish Nancy would sub closer to the 60-65th minute instead of the 80th.

Hinestroza was punched in the back twice by Segura but Murillo gets the red for shoving Hinestroza? Hinestroza kicked out at Segura and threw a punch that didn’t connect at Murillo. However Murillos push did seem to graze Hinestrozas face too.
Dumb all around but Segura deserved to be sent off with Hinestroza more than Murillo.

I have to say that Jones in the midfield worries me. Guys all legs and not very agile. I'm not sure if he's the type than we need, awkward on the ball. Wonder how Matan would work alongside Nagbe or if that'd overload Nagbe because the oppo would just crush Matan due to lack of size.

Someone failed to give Wilfried Nancy the "win at home, tie on the road" memo.

This is our first-ever regular season win against LAFC.

7-2 aggregate if you include MLS Cup.

    ...so sayeth MLS Wrap-Up.
