Puttputt wants to delete this thread and complain about @chr1st not starting the one for the game I will not be staying up to watch. Someone is grouchy (but no points because puttputt is a dreamer of two goals + like me). Go treat yourself to some New Baltimore. We had Pavs twice this weekend because Markus had two games.

I want to delete this thread because the game was terrible. My feeble attempts at thread creation pale in comparison to chr1st. Had New Baltimore Tin Roof. Fantastic as always. Markus deserves New Baltimore once in a while.

 

He gets Milk & Honey ice cream quite regularly with his grandparents.

 

This game did, indeed, suck.

It also perfectly encapsulates the concerns our dear @hangthadj brings to our attention in the Fire Berhalter and other threads.

First, it's kind of great that we got a point on the road vs a western top tier team. Secondly, there was nothing else good about this game.

Worrying trends and overall concerns:

• Zardes has just had his first 3 game goalless run of the season
• Pipa hasn't had a goal or assist since June 3rd vs Toronto a run of 10 games and 8 starts.
• Our 'DP' winger hasn't had a goal since March! Providing a meager 3 assists since then as well. What exactly is he doing for us out there?
• Apparently our offense consists of Harrison Afful being the creative and attacking force. He's been on the score sheet the last 3 wins and absent from it in our last three non-wins

Ugh.
