I'm a big fan of vocal coach reactions to songs I like, such as Ghost Love Score, Poet and the Pendulum, and Romanticide by Nightwish.

The 2013 Wacken concert with Floor is absolutely magical. She is one of the best vocalists I've ever heard.

Germans love their police procedurals. I'm surprised you didn't mention Tatort, which is one of the longest running shows on German TV and still starts every episode with the same intro from the 1970s. Each region in Germany has their own detective team, so every Sunday features a different city with a different team. I haven't seen SK Kölsch, but here is the trailer for the Tatort: Köln team.

I believe WVIZ, the local PBS stations still shows International Mysteries from the MHz service. MHz also offers their own streaming service called MHz Choice, and a TV channel available on Samsung devices called MHz Now.

I'm trying to decide which failed more miserably: the Crew's attempted "brand refresh" or New Era's Local Market collection of baseball hats.

I've not had a chance to see as many different ones as I'd like to. There's also "Der Kommissar" (which was a TV show that the song was named after). I'll have to look up MHz.

Needless to say, NCIS is very popular in Germany....

Thought it was interesting that the Crew did not wear the Pride warmup jerseys (with the failed Columbus SC crest on it) on Pride Night.

Also, when they advertised the Pride collection of appeal on the scoreboard they showed the back of the warmup and not the front.

I'll admit, the blue Parley jerseys look much better in person.

If I were an FC Stabby Lion fan, I would snatch one up in a heartbeat.

Seemed odd for us to play in Cinci colors. (Under what circumstances would Ohio State ever wear maize and blue?). Each club gets only one color of jersey to wear on the field and sell to fans. I wonder how that decision is made. I would have picked white for us, not Cinci colors. Toronto is usually associated with blue (Jays, Leafs, Argos, and their city flag is blue). If the league decided, seems like they got it ass backwards.

I don’t imagine we’ll ever see a parley Crew jersey in yellow. *sigh*

Home teams wore blue, away teams were in white. That was a league decision, the Crew didn’t have a choice.

Was in Cleveland today. Wore the champions jacket and the blue parley jersey. A bartender complained to me about the rebrand. I didn't know what he was talking about at first because I didn't expect it.

I was there today, and I honestly couldn't tell which team we were until I saw Gyasi Zardes's hair.

I wonder if home teams didn't get first choice. With the Crew releasing "white" kits this season a second white kit, even limited run as it was, would probably not have much of an appeal. I will say the wife really likes the Parlay kits as she does not wear yellow at all and does not like to wear black during the summer months when we are tailgating.

The league limits the color choice to help build global brands. Columbus wore Blue/Orange because of tri-state marketing in the OH-IN-KY market. Yellow kits were limited to the following teams yesterday:

    New York
    Montreal
    New England
    Houston
    Real Salt Lake
    Portland

You are looking at the keeper jerseys....

I thought the blue ones looked better IRL than in the pictures on the webpage. For Toronto? At the game, iooked like they were wearing unwashed, dirty t-shirts. One interesting thing--the blue of their sponsor stood out a lot better than the blue of the crest. I wonder if their sponsor asked for a bit of emphasis.

Interchangeable parts...just make every game look the same with City Name SC v. City Name SC and call it a day.

Talking about jersey colors, it would be a crime if for our next game at HCS, which will be the last one for some time, we're not wearing the banana kits. ******** Nashville and Garber.

You are over simplifying it. It would be more like City Name SC v. City Name FC.

I like the blue shirts, and I like the idea of every matchup wearing the same colors for one day to raise awareness of a cause - especially cleaning the oceans.

I wore my white Parley jersey yesterday in support. Granted it was under a couple of other layers, but it was there.

When I turned on the game, I assumed we were in white in those stadium kits.

I bought Timo the fitted hat for an early Father’s Day present. The C on the cap looks sharp.
