Should I start drinking now?

 

They have more big names than Veracruz.

 

Parking is $5 (or valid OSU permit), for those wondering. I'd imagine both the Buckeye lot near Ackerman and 315 and the gray lot, just south of the stadium.

Joe Cole, Freddy Edu, and quite a few names that I recongize as ex-MLSers. Will be interesting to see Tommy H again. Didn't we face him in the open cup before?

 

I don't remember him playing against the crew after he went to Canada, unless it was before he came here.

 

I checked, he was with the Charleston Battery some years ago (before he played for us) - Tommy always seemed nice so I'm looking forward to welcoming him, and then crushing Freddie Adu's dreams again.

 

Looks like a good opportunity to continue to blood some young guys. Get Swanson and Martinez out there again. It would be nice though if we win and go on a little run. I really enjoy the USOC!

 

I'd let saravia start in place of trapp as well, just to see him in his natural position. Larsen needs minutes as well.

 

I agree it would be nice to see what Larsen can do. Hasn't had the opportunity to show that much but it would be nice to know where I should set my expectation bar for him.

 

Our young guys have been playing well. It will be cool to see how they can stack up against a solid NASL side.

 

My ideal lineup:

I honestly just can't bring myself to start Casey. He can't play 90 minutes anyway.

And I wanna see if our 5-0 at the end of last season with Saeid as the #10 was a fluke or not. You could persuade my to put Larsen in the middle and Finlay out wide, try and build his confidence back up and whatnot.

 

How much am I going to have to pay for parking?

 

$5 cash only. Big lot (Gray Lot) immediately south of the stadium.

$1.75/hr in the lot (Buckeye Lot) just southeast of Ackerman and 315. This is an option for credit cards, but you may have to buy it by the whole hour.

 

Will this be televised on youtube or some other sort of streaming service?

 

I think last year they had an official stream on YouTube, hopefully that's the case this time.

 

Streams for the fourth round haven't been announced, yet. I believe USSF encourages teams to stream, if they can.

 

Well, I suppose that means no streaming.

 

This is a good yet depressing point.

 

I'd hope there'd be at least a streaming audio option.

 

US Soccer has been streaming the USOC matches on their youtube account.

As long as they can hook up a stream from the stadium, they will.

 

That said, all you central Ohio residents really should just go to the game.
