I am seriously considering attending this and asking some very tough questions.

But part of me knows I'm not going to get anything more that the same pablum they're serving the media, so why make myself all mad as hell before the game. I'll be plenty pissed off by halftime as it is.

 

Considering its only 15 mins, i cant imagine too many questions will be asked. And yeah, the answers will be typical PR stuff. Honestly, my head says dont bother, enjoy the dollar beer instead (or just keep tailgating), but my heart says go.

I think I'll go, but we're meeting people before the game and tailgating so i could easily see myself skipping it. I'm pretty 50-50 right now.

Loughnane gives decent answers, based on the supporters summit in february. I'll admit i like him a lot. Whichever player it is (trapp, parkhurst, finlay, or clark guaranteed 100%) will give yawn-inducing non-answers, and we know what GB is like.

 

Especially Parkhurst. Dude seems 10 seconds behind the present, like the sloths in Zootopia.

 

FWIW...Berhalter is on United States of Soccer on Sirius XM today at some point between 11-1.

Going back to 2012 the average point total for last spot in the East is 50. Low of 49, high of 53.

Two positives for the game, Black Kits and Kofi Opare saw red last game.
For the bad news:

 

The East is having a bad year.
The team currently in 1st place, NYCFC, is on pace for 51 points.
The 6th, 7th, and 8th place teams aren't even on pace for 40 points.

It's entirely possible 45 points would get us into the playoffs this year.

That said, we're going to need to actually win some damn games to have any hope of getting past 40.

 

I've also said elsewhere that I have 45 points as my number for this year. The east is so very bad this year, and will continue to eat itself alive.
