they haven't updated their site yet so i don't have a link but it seems to me that Bill McComb was in danger of missing his deadline and dusted off a mls article from 1998 and tried to pass it off as current. check your local news stand for the newest alive page 40 for: There's no U in crew by bill mccomb will post link as soon as the chimps running that a$$ rag update their site.
Pure trash! Little does that guy know that soccer is the top team sport in which one can wager. The writer has probably never been outside of Ohio with all the ignorance he shows.
I'll give him the OSU moniker, since even if there were no fans in attendance, OSU sports would still be played. However, the Blue Jackets might not be around in 10 years if they keep on playing like they have through their first several years of existence...
Trash. I wonder what he'll have to say when we show him pictures of Home Depot Center and the Frisco stadium. Here's his odds, courtesy of www.WillHill.com Columbus Crew v New England 1.90 3.20 3.50 here's even a link: http://www.willhill.com/iibs/EN/buildcoupon.asp?couponChoice=FB340600
I need a shower after reading that trash. I would love to meet this guy in a dark alley. I have some repressed narsacistic rage with homicidal tendencies to unleash.
For the first time ever I'm tempted to actually write a letter to a columnist. However, how can I get a point across to someone so ignorant.
Kryptonite, I did not want to link the site but thanks. I have used Hills betting sites at Gatwick last year to bet on the World Cup. They like to spotlight Brian McBride in their store signage. One can even bet on how many goals he scores. On the game v. NE this weekend. Can you bet on goals?
I -think- if you look at a ticket for the loge boxes, the price listed on the ticket is $50. I could be wrong, though. However, if you buy individual tickets, the most expensive ticket is what, $20??
What's everyone so up in arms about? What another idiot sports journalist? Not exactly an endangered species is it? Mike
Columbus Alive has NEVER been our friend. Nevertheless, yet another newpaper toeing the 'don't worry, soccer will go away, just wait a little bit more' line does us no good.
It's funny to think about it. They'll say "soccer will go away." Yet, we'll still have A-League and down, FSW, Uni/Tele/Gala, Setanta and others. So, of course, it'll never truly go away. But it's up to those bozos to realize that.
