Also, considering how new the CS announcement is, it's altogether possible they weren't paying attention, and are unaware of their existence.
I would like to think that the Rapids know what the Real Colorado Foxes of the PDL are doing. If they know this, they should know if a new USLPro team is starting up less than 2 hours away.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Their league has a player development agreement with USL, and someone announces a team 78 miles away from them and they don't notice it for almost two months? Come on. I don't believe the Rapids are the sharpest knives in the drawer, but that's just ludicrous.
I found this little gem while I was on the energyfc, com site it was in the banner on top with all the other team logos Tulsa had one to but I couldn't capture it. Is this possibly the new team crest for the switchbacks?
hey guys still trying to get this done for you please post here https://www.bigsoccer.com/community/...backs-fc-in-the-usl-expansion-thread.1999795/
I completely forgot he played for them the first year. And for teams played on, I think he spent a year indoors with the Ambush the year before MLS started.

Rapids president Tim Hinchey said last week that in the long term he would love to have a USL Pro team — and a PDL team, for that matter — playing home games at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. But, he added, that's a ways off, so the Rapids are actively pursuing a partner in the USL Pro. http://www.denverpost.com/rapids/ci_25844100/rapids-switchbacks-fc-work-separate-mls-usl-pro
Sounds like maybe the Rapids were eying Colorado Springs for their own USL team?!? Ragin beat em to the punch?
They could put the team in Ft Collins, that area has the money, and a large, active, hip, growing population.
I received an email about season tickets, pretty much matches the info here: http://shop.switchbacksfc.com/collections/summit-club-season-ticket-holders
Good for the Switchbacks. Nice to see they will be playing on a decent pitch in a decent stadium. Off to a good start!
