Has anyone created a bs fantasy division for the Rapids on the Sporting News' site? Last year there were a couple different divisions so I figure we can all congregate before the start of the season.
You can sign up and create a team already. The game will assign you to a division automatically. You can ghange divisions until the first day of the season I think. I saw there was a RFO division but it has a password. Anyone else form a Rapids division?
Acording to this other bs thread we are in Rapids-04 division if you want to compete for prizes from the Sporting News. I suggest everyone sign up here. https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=99623
Per the SportingNews rules at http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/mls/fantasy/about/official_rules.html Last year, I lied and said my address was my parents in California. They sent me a release form to fill out proving my address and required a witness. I never sent it in. Then my parents called saying my prize showed up (MLS Mini-Ball -- top 200). You might have to think of something just as stupid to actually be eligible (and you'll never get the trip prizes). I wouldn't play this for the prizes (and I sure as he|| wouldn't spend *ANY* money on trades).
Vertigo I am in. I won't pay if you won't, Zar-Dude-from-like-California. MFLS should have a game, too. Who is that "Lassiter" from TSN that scored thousands above the rest of us smart alecks? I'd like to be in his/her/their league to, you know. learn a few things. R
https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=98420 Play. And Colorado residents CAN win
I don't think so. Last year I got busy with work, and ignored it to the point that we missed out on on the mfls cup, champions league, or whatever it's called that Preston McMurray manages each year. I'd rather we participate, and I can't guarantee that I won't get bogged down again. http://my.execpc.com/~pvmiii/brewcity/brewcity.html Hopefully somebody else can pick up the reins this year.
Just to bump this back up...I tried to start one, but because I already 'joined a division' it will not let me - although there are probably better people to do this... If there are enough of us here interested, why don't we just pick one of the existing generic divisions and anyone here interested can join it?
I couldn't find any Rapids divisions for MFLS, so I just created a division for the MFLS http://www.mfls.com called Colorado Rapids Supporters. Not real original, but hopefully easy to find... Cheers, BilFish
Last Chance for Fantasy League Happiness! This is the final week to sign up for fantasy leagues and get in all the games for maximum points! MLSnet has a league, and we have a Colorado Rapids Supporters league on the Major Fantasy League Soccer site -- http://mfls.com where we'd be happy to have everyone join our division! Cheers, BilFish Team: Max's Meat Market
The Sporting News division this thread was started about has around 40 teams. It will be a lot of fun this season with so many teams. A high level of competition I am sure. Keep the teams coming!
Sharpshooters here. basically expecting to come in dead last but I figured boosting everyones rank was the least I could do.
There are two fantasy leagues going on. I have no personal preference over either, and I'm signed up in the Rapids' division for both. Just sayin'. Anyway, just an update that the MFLS.com Colorado Rapids Supporters division is signed up for the Champions' League Cup, so let's do well as a division, ladies 'n' gents! And, if you're not in the MFLS.com or the MLSnet.com fantasy leagues, there's still time before the first game to sign up. Now, if my skill were only as deep as my enthusiasm for the season starting SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheers, BilFish ================ http://bilfish.com/rapids/
The Sporting News division now has as many as 60 teams! Great turn out folks. Remember to have a team picked by tomorrow of you lose the first weeks' points. Make sure you have 11 players, sometimes the flex players confuse people. Anyone else is welcome!
Sporting News/MLSnet I'm Nerja CF. MLFS I'm Malagueño. Should be a fun competition with over 60 teams in the Sporting News Rapids division.
