Well i think this is something cool and very intresting and useful to look at. I was thinking maybe could be pinned at the top and i'd keep updating it every game, and adding more games to the schedule. It's just cool and useful. Plus i don't see anything like this around keeping this record.

    Opinions?

Yeah, i did it all myself and i've done them before. I'm a stats buff so i love this kind of stuff. And yeah, i'll add more games obviously as the season progresses.

    Very cool. Stuck.

Maybe you can sell the idea to the Rapids to post on their site too. Copyright your format quickly! :)

Wow. So glad you all like the idea.

I'd consider doing it for a few of the other MLS teams (expect Fake Salt Lake of course :p) if they were intrested.

I see you note the red - what about yellows?

I feel pretty embarrassed to admit this---but I have NO idea what that table is showing. But it certainly does look useful. Can someone please explain?

I think it's what color shirts everyone wore for each game.

It just shows who played each games. Who started, who came on as subs, who was sent off and who scored. That's all.

And yeah, i'm not a fan of FC Dallas either. :p

I thought the yellows would clutter the page too much, making it a bit TOO much. As they say, less is more.

What do the green, red, and yellow shirts across the top mean? Why are some names in boldface type? I guess Brown's name is in red because he got a red card?

Bold means that person scored a goal in that match.

Is there any way to illustrate a multiple scoring game? I'd dig that.

Great format tho... Keep it up!

It's a scientific means of determining you're Luchi replacement. ;)

jbarrett777 ---> I like it. Especially that if I'm reading it correctly you're starting with a GK, then the next column is RB, et al. What happens if Clavijo goes with a 4-5-1 or 3-5-2?

Well it would just be the same format changed. First 4 would be defence as normal, next 5 would be midfield going from right to left with forward being last. The order will always be from right to left. :)

For multiple scoring, a number would just go at the end for amount of goals.

If the goal is to show continuity in the starting lineup, would Ihemelu appear as a full column, with Mastroeni appearing under Prideaux instead? Of course it mean Pablo bounces around a bit.

Nah. Ugo switched to right defender which is where Prideaux was. Yeah Pablo will bounce around abit. :p

Much love to JBarrett for coming up with this cool format, but shouldn't we probably unsticky this unless/until it can be updated on a somewhat common basis?
