Man Nytes is good! What a save on the PK. Then an amazing save at the very end to seal the win for Colorado.

Going into Thursday night’s match v Baylor the Buffs are tied for first in the Big XII with West Virginia. The Buffs are the only team that has played three road games to start conference play.

Here’s a look at the standings:

Also, per the Daily Camera, Shyra James has a minor injury and is game-to-game.

I was at the game - I've missed three this season so far and was thus glad to get back to Prentup. Honestly, I felt CU was lucky to win. Their attack lack creativity and looked to rely on long balls. There were very few quality chances created. At the same time KU's #4 got behind CU defense and it took two stellar saves by Jordan Nytes to keep the score at 0-0 which gave the Buffs a chance to win later on which they took advantage of when Jacy Holley won a scramble to put poke the ball in.

unkiemark, how does this team compare to the really good team that had Kornieck back in 16 through 19? And thank you for all of your posts that help us out of state fans follow the team!

@arcadiandj, I have to give this some thought and perhaps look back at the rosters for these seasons as I don't have a strong impression in my mind one way or the other.

Buffs got shellacked by TCU, 1-6, on Saturday afternoon. Having been out of town I can't comment on the game. This week CU travels to Texas Tech on Thursday and returns home to host Central Florida on Sunday afternoon.

In the current RPI rankings the Buffs are at #39.
