The schedule is out, so let's start there. Note that the first match v North Texas takes place on Aug. 10 which seems early compared to previous seasons. I assume this is due to the Big 12 having a post-season conference tourney which the Pac 12 didn't.

Nine non-conference games with seven at home; eleven conference games with five at home.

Highlight of the non-conference schedule is North Carolina on Aug. 18 at home.

The most significant off-season news for the Buffs is that Shyra James and Rachel Rosen have chosen to to use their 5th season of eligibility to finish their college careers in Boulder.

James is one of the best goal scorers in school history and her return will certainly bolster the attack. Last season she scored 15 goals in 20 games. For her career she has 40 goals in 76 games.

Rosen has a strong and accurate left foot. Over the last couple of seasons she has been impactful in the role of left back/wing back. Last season he had 1 goal and 5 assists in 21 games.

I am pretty sure the August 10 game against North Texas is a pre-season game. I believe the first date for counting games is August 15.

Forgot to highlight trips to - Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa, Texas, Ohio, and West Virginia!
Traded for trips to AZ, CA, WA.
Good Luck in the Big 12. Will be interesting to compare the RPI from 23 to 24 season. I believe the Big12 was 7th in final rpi from '23, the other 4 P5s plus Big East and Ivy all better...

I'll just point out, again, that the move to the Big 12 was dictated by football TV revenue which wasn't good and with the defections of of USC & UCLA was looking worse.

Danny Sanchez has been diplomatic about the move, but I would guess he doesn't love it.

Note, it won't be a big attendance down the road there will be 80 000 fans watching the FA Women's Cup final at Wembley Stadium. I will be at the Buffs game.

There is something wrong with this site as when one scrolls down to the bottom of the page, the page very often pops back up to earlier posts again. It won't stay with the last post or if you want to write a new post. It's been going on for a while. Anybody else having this problem?

Nice to have someone posting info for a team other than FSU or UNC We need more teams represented on this college page. Seeing FSU and UNC as the only new team posts day after day has become very boring.
