Carrascal continues to play well in Brasil. Had a nice cross in for an assist that was headed in by a teammate.
Also had some nice corners. His manager is showing some more confidence in him as the weeks go by.

    I like Carbonero a lot.
I hope he continues to to play well and gets more minutes for the Seleccion.

Really sucks. Unless he recovers and plays well heading into March I do not think he will get called up until the 2030 cycle.

(Heck, even if he does play well like he did initially he may not be called. )

Well, the good news is that he was on the bench and cleared to play.

The bad news is he did not play.

I watched some highlights of Gomez’s last match.
The guy is so speedy and tricky on the wings. Very active and dangerous. Sometimes he did overrun the ball and lost possession but I attribute these moments mostly to the crappy field that had holes and bumps.
He had a nice move towards the left and cut into the box and passed it off for a nice assist.

Reminds me of a roadrunner being chased by a coyote and makes them look silly. Many defenders just foul him.

Atletico Paranaense has ascended into the Brasileiro first division.

Four Colombians started for them yesterday and one came off the bench.
    (And another did not play.)

Tough to know, all he's done is with colombia youth teams

He did play with Millonarios a little but they always shoved him out to the wing which is not rly his area imo.

He is so great on counters. When he is on a break away no one is fast enough to ever catch up to him.
I really want to see him make the World Cup squad.
