I also don’t understand the hatred towards our own players and team

I give Carrascal a hard time just based on people thinking he could be our starting ten, but in general

we are one of the biggest exporters of talent world wide
Colombians are now playing in all the major leagues in the world
Colombia is a good national team
Our players for the most part, stay out of trouble and have good character

But we treat our guys like they are weak, injury prone, had attitude, soft players

Sometimes we forget other countries and teams have issues too and that we don’t play alone, the other teams have talent too

I’m sure his Colombian players are ready to run through a brick wall for him.

I just like the way the little guy runs and weaves past defenders to get crosses and shots off.

Maybe he will be given a chance next cycle but the competition is so stiff and he is not really young.

It is a miracle that Sini is healthy again. I thought his season was over. Glad he was cleared to be on the bench.

Oh lol. Nevermind, I crossed it in my head and was looking for him on the Vasco line up and was looking at their last few games!

Now that you remind me Barrera (who I like a lot as a talent) is at Botafogo and has actually posted regularly as a sub.

Neiser came on for Kao Jorge in Cruzeiro's win tonight and played the whole second half. Jorge is their star so that's a great sign on Ney's cred building there - he didn't score but they won on two second half goals.

Monsalve came on in second half too.

Btw - so annoying Brasiliero rights moved off P+ the season that half our NT decided to play there!

Just broke down and got Fanatiz to offset...

When he is sprinting down the field on counters he always seems to put decent shots on goal or crosses.
Not too many defenders can keep up with him.

The guy is just so good on the right side. Also can play left too as mentioned previously in the thread.
Just wish he was sent to Brasil earlier in his career. He might have made the World Cup squad.

Anyone seen much of Kevin Viveros - 26 years old and plays at Paranaense.

seems to be having a strong 25/26 campaign. Likely too late for NT, but for next cycle??

He was okay at Nacional during the Libertadores last year.
Maybe not Senior team quality now but depending on who the manager is next year he may be an option for an Non-FIFA friendly or training camp.

Sini played three minutes the other day plus extra time.

That's progress. Maybe he has a chance of making the World Cup.

Could you imagine Diaz on one side and Mini-Diaz on the other side. Teams would freak out with the skill and pace and dribbling abilities of that type attack. But alas, it was not meant to be for Enamorado.

Carbonero has a good chance though. But remember we also have Campaz and Gomez. I would not mind all these guys making it but sadly at most two of the four will probably make it. Unless we just don't bring many 9s.
