I like him as a player River didnt' go well for him and his price tag was insane. that being said I don't want him at the World Cup and he got rid of Uribe on the NT... hope he gets a transfer in the summer and regains his form. That being said really don't want him on the final roster. He is 25.... not going to fully write him off yet

Villa's team won 5-1 today. Unfortunately he did not score any of the goals. He was dangerous in attack though and had good passes, corners and FKs. Just could not find the back of the net.
Campaz had a nice corner that led to an assist in his Copa Libertadores match last night. He is a decent corner taker if James or JuanFer cannot take them.
Oh man, no. Campaz adds energy and is willing to take on his marker but his set pieces were very poor for the NT in his qualifier opportunities - he took most of the indirectly so he didn't even try to deliver service...
Well it is still too small of a sample size to judge based on National team set pieces. For Rosario he usually does well.

Castano is on the roster today for the Libertadores. Not sure he is going to play but being on the roster is a step up from previous matches.
Yeah, it’s a step up, but it’s because Chacho is resting some of the regular starters to prioritize the league match on the weekend. It’s the reason why heavy names like Montiel, Acuña, Anibal Moreno, Rivero, etc didn’t even travel to Venezuela for today’s match. Still a step up for Castaño to be included in the roster again regardless, but it’s more an opportunity due to rotation rather than merit
thanks for that update - from your perspective, what happened to Castano this season at River? for the NT, he's been a regular for Nestor Lorenzo and has been pretty steady, but I heard he's been having off-field drama and playing terrible for River? What about JFQ? he's back from injury but i would venture to guess, he's just a super sub these days - he's not what i consider a 90-minute player... but still capable of that super goal/assist at any time...
