Carbonero scored a couple of goals tonight in the Sudamericana. JuanFer was also very dangerous all night long. Great passes and assists and FKs. Only low point for him was that he got his penalty saved but other than that he was the MVP of the match.

Incredible goal from Jaminton Campaz in Rosario Central's 2-1 win over Lanus yesterday.

Start watching at 1:25 of this video.

Sometimes goals like that are a bit fluky because you don't know whether or not the intention was a cross or a shot. You can tell he was trying to score on this one. Magnificent idea and audacity to take it.

Campaz is near the top of the Argentine scoring chart with 4 goals from 6 matches. Home match against Sarmiento coming up in a few hours.

I think it is safe to say most of us would rather see this guy than Cuadrado on the next list for Qualifying.

With Di Maria returning to Rosario Central, I think he’s going to make one hell of an attack with Campaz. Might be a fun team to watch

Unless Russo takes Campaz with him.

I don’t know. Last I heard Central wanted at least $10m for him… not sure if Boca is willing to pay that.

Plus Campaz himself has said he is very excited to play with Di Maria and looks forward to next season

But we’ll see… would be a tragedy if he joined Boca

    I heard that too.
But Russo loves Campaz and Colombains in general.
If the financials do not work out though then yes, he is likely to stay.

    Duvan Vergara possible debut.

honestly, this guy is great. Easily one of the very top players of the colombian league.

at times he looked like Cucho in MLS

    He is pretty good.
Unfortunately we have way too many wingers ahead of him. And younger U-20 wingers that will leapfrog him soon. So he may never get a chance for the Seleccion unless he really scores a bunch in Argentina.

He's capable of doing incredible things because technically he's superb but his decision making is some of the worst I've ever seen in a winger. And I'm not only talking about that stupid red card he got in the semis vs Argentina.

Just reminds me of a streetballer who tries to do all the fancy stuff but does not focus on the fundamentals and discipline.

It can be the full spectrum of highs and lows of entertainment and frustration in just a few minutes of footage.
