Cetré played like a madman against River last night.
He has been pretty good all season in small doses but last night he played incredible.

Like better than Campaz and could be a backup for J Arias type of "incredible" if he keeps it up.
That said, I am not sure he can consistently play as well as he did week-to-week but you never know.

Cetré did his best Lucho Diaz impression this evening.

Alright, maybe that is exaggerating a bit but he was really doing a little bit of everything for Estudiantes tonight. He looks like one of the best attacking players in Argentina that is for sure.

Another fine match for Cetré. This time with a goal and assist in the Libertadores.

Speaking of Colombian CBs in the Libertadores, I really like the style of play of Jhohan Romaña at San Lorenzo.
He is pretty solid defensively and can also do nice headers from set pieces. Played in Paraguay (I also liked the way he played for Olimpia in the previous Libertadores) and seems to have learned from their type of strategies and positioning to go along with good instincts.

He is probably nowhere to be found on Lorenzo's radar since we have so many CBs but I am hoping that changes as the cycle advances and he continues to show his stuff in Argentina.
May have to go to a bigger team though.

Roger scored two goals while Carbonero was very active on the left wing for Racing.
JuanFer was not even on the roster. I think he is in Colombia.

Any of these guys good enough to
Make the jump to Europe or SNT?

CB is tough. I know Mina is injury prone but still 3 years or more left in him in the NT and Sanchez even for all his mind fks is still an option.

is Cetre really as good as people are making him out to be remember him just being a corre loco at Junior but way better at DIM

I am not sure about Mantilla but he is still young. He could develop into a solid CB.

Cetré has really done a good job of developing his game. I think he is a good option at right wing but Lorenzo does not seem to like players in Argentina so he may have to go to Europe.

To me Portilla should be on the Copa America squad but if Uribe is healthy it will probably be him.

Carbonero looked really good last night. Scored a nice goal and was dangerous on the left wing.
Looked like the pre-injury Carbonero who was supposed to be called up for Japan/Korea friendlies.

Someone to keep an eye on for Qualifiers.

Carbonero started, had an assist and scored a goal for Racing last night.
    Not a bad birthday celebration.

wow .... my old enemy is still alive :) Went to see how old he was since had to be around Falcaos age or older. He played in Aston Villa and West Ham. Totally forgot about that. Remember he was in Uruguay then went to France. Probably the only good thing Pinto did on the NT is giving this dude a shot.

Glad he isnt a Zombie like the guys who came back to Colombia this season

well your old enemy is studing as well, maybe we can see him in a management position in the next future.

He speaks 5 languages: English, French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

Thats the type of players we should have more from both inside and outside of the football field.

    thanks for the share.

Loved the interview. Sounds like a great guy.

Interesting how he's a bit bitter about the way he was treated when he came back to FPC.

I don't agree on the racism comment. Even if he doesn't share the sentiment as it being a problem for him and simply ignores it as an issue, it's important to understand the impact it has on our society and black people specifically. It's not just words.

I do think athletes and rocks stars (specially black) may have a "better" experience dealing with racism but it doesn't take away from all the horrible things done in said community. Anyway, great interview and hope he digs in deep in management affairs.

Any new coaches would be great.... no more Escobar, La Pava coming in the second a coach gets fired 5 games into the season. Those guys are also getting really up their in age too. Also no more taxi drivers coaching our clubs youth teams any more

Hope Falcao goes into coaching as well
