So Suarez quit, Rueda maybe the next to quit as well.

Venezuela?Peru? You think they will go for these guys?

What happened with Bolillo did he get the Panama job and what happened to Hernandez that coached Junior & Panama?

That leave Pinto...... do you guys think if he takes Costa Rica to the elite 8 or even the Semis if they beat Mexico or Holland he'll get a good euro club to offer him a job? I mean I see him in Mexico coaching or even Argentina but I don't know with his personality he will be a good euro coach.

So this has to be an option at this time. We have a month before next round. Try to get a friendly vs the U 20 or whoever .... but we can't keep Rueda dudes had 12 game and each one we are somehow worse

We are stuck with him. And by some miracle we are still alive mathematically, but my goodness, we need a sea change in tactics.

To go 0-0 back to back in Barranquilla... Still fuming.

It is not all Rueda's fault. The players are missing their opportunities and have mental farts in front of goal.
Even Borja missed his chances badly which I never thought would happen.

Glad we are still in 4th though. Hopefully we can do what we always do against Peru to get our of a funk but it will take somebody to step up and put the ball in the back of the net.

When it's all the players for five straight games it's not just a player thing. There is a mental/confidence issue in the the side and the coach needs to take accountability and do something.

Pekerman brought in shrinks and it helped. Rueda needs to have a plan.

Obviously, the players are underperforming but it's literally his job to select the right guys and extract peak performance to win.

I have to agree, at some point Rueda needs to be held accountable, and I actually like him. But his strategies are being outclassed by Ecuador's, Paraguays, and Peru's coaches.

I do think it's an issue with the whole 5 sub rule as well. This gives teams too much time to change tactics to a game. Basically field a different team. FIFA needs to revaluate this, as 3 subs was good enough.
