I don't remember Usuriaga but the rest of these guys were awesome. Also Luis Perea at Boca was beastly

Usuriaga was awesome. Thanks to this goal against Israel (sorry Pibe10) we got to go to WC1990
You should check out some of the videos while he played in Independiente de Avellaneda.
Don't remember why Maturana didn't take him to the WC.

Really!? Wow, I didn't know that. I knew that he had a drug problem in the mid 90s, maybe he had it back then too. I just remember seeing him in Independiente in the mid/late 90s and I really liked him.

Nothing so far . The video isn't great , and doesn't show when and why the argument started . The guy was still provoking him after mondragon was trying to avoid the conflict . Its probably some gamin that couldn't take the loss and wanted to take a shot on mondragon .

side rant: When the fk will people learn to hold the cellphone the proper way, horizontally, when shooting video? Is not that hard, people. /end rant.

Sorry?? this game was to one who introduced me the most exciting futbol on the planet :p

Back then at the age of 10 I was sad that my country didn't qualify but since 1990 my "country" is Colombia and I cheer for Colombia to qualify before I do for Israel. I remember both matches (in Barranquilla and in Ramat Gan) as like they were yesterday.

What did they told Mondragon in the video?

Cagon, vos comenzaste. Sos figura publica. Te cagas. Nada inteligente

It seems that mondragon called him in the toilet to avoid cameras where he punched the idiots.

Osorio wants non FIFA day friendly against Colombia. If we don't accept it will be against Senegal. Pekerman hates friendlies so I doubt this will happen. If we did call only Latin American players who would play?

Do you have a source for that ?
I hope pekerman accepts it, if true . Colombia should pick up some friendlies before the next wcq match . friendlies are needed right now , we need to find a good formation and game plan to help the team play well again .

We haven't beaten a good team since we beat Uruguay at the WC. We have been awful since. Shocked we are in the top 10

Every member of our federation should be fired!! Not just Bedoya no way in hell did they not know what was going on.

I remember them not wanting a foriegn coach because they had no money. Our sponsors calling bullshit on that or Coca Cola offering 30% more and a longer contract to sponsor our league and all this shit was rejected. Pekerman was linked to Colombia before we got Pinto or maybe Lara. That got rejected.

The Edwin Valencia/Elkin Soto black listed from the NT by the club owners. The fed had some dirty shit going on behind doors. People started to give them love but we could have had Pekerman before 2010 and prob have gone to that WC.

They all need to leave make Ivan Córdoba, Mondragon, Yepes and Luis Perea the new heads of the federation. Those guys love Colombia, the NT and are super rich and won't fk over the NT to steal a few bucks
