Nope, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay are, but the other 7 countries likely will play for 2.5 or 3 places.

 

We should be rioting by this absurd hosting crap. I understan Uruguay, it is 100 years of WC. PAraguay maybe as it is the country of CONMEBOL main offices. Why the hell Argentina gets to qualify for hosting a game?, that is bullshit.

In fact I think NO ONE should qualify unless you host at least 5 games as a country.

 

If life were fair, CHUPAR (Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina) would have hosted the Centenary edition of the WC; since FIFA was probably offered a better deal (and at this time in history, that's all that counts for Giani) by PORESMAR, they just gave a little consolation prize to 3 of the original bidders.

The good news is that 2038 could be held in South America again.. Maybe...
