    Yup.
Just need another keeper or two to be integrated. Especially if Mier is not healthy in time.

We can still experiment though. We have two matches in March and June to fine tune things.

Someone else who would be included in this team is Cabal but need him to stop being injured every 5 seconds

Feels like most of the team is set and he's not going to try new set ups or formations. So it's a few guys jockeying for a spot and form or injuries probably play a big roll.

Depends if final roster is 23/26/30

30 then we are all set

    26 then it’s Quintero/Carrascal/Yaser fighting for James/Arias back up

    Borre/duran/cucho for who joins Cordoba

campaz, carbonero or Gomez for Arias/diaz back up

portilla, Puerta and castano for lermas partner

more guys can pop up in the next 7 months I mean Duran seemed like that came out of no where

we also need to work harder on getting players who could potentially play for us but chose other teams like Spain for better better or Us/random Middle East teams because they don’t even want to wait till their 20 to play with a senior nt like the Periera kid

    To add to the list,
Deossa will probably get a chance too if he is playing well in Spain. Maybe Solis.
New Keepers need to be brought in.

We may have a domestic camp or Non-FIFa friendly to find some diamond in the rough.

Sini if he ever gets back to Leeds Form.
Neyser if he plays well for Cruzeiro. Like scores a bunch in his first few months. Or just looks good with Sini which would be ideal.

Other than that I am not expecting many changes when compared to this roster.

30 would mean probably everyone who should go will for the most part, makes it easier for sure. Deossa, Sini, Duran seem like guys who can get healthy and back playing regularly are likely going to be there.

Which this coach has. He’s called a bunch of different players since he took over

Only fixtures have been Arias, James, and Lucho. Rios later on

Velez is the same guy who thinks Darwin and Cardona should be given chances.
And Dayro should be on the World Cup roster 100%.

That guy just likes criticizing for the sake of criticizing.

I don’t think I have had many issues with any of the call ups Nestor does. Lineup management on game days (WCQ and Copa America) is a different story.

for the most part - he’s called up all the right players at the right time given injuries, form and personal matters.

Kudos for calling up Auggie Door who plays in 2nd division Spain instead of someone from the Colombian league. That’s a dicey move…especially when we have several of the CM’s pretty much sealed for the World Cup - I know a lot of people don’t like Castano, but I see him going for better / for worse…

It was surprising and unexpected to see Puerta not only be on the roster but start.
Glad Lorenzo gave him a chance.

People should not hate on Castaño though. He is pretty dynamic in a sense that he can play Lerma's position and play along side him (I know most people do not like when he starts with Lerma but that is besides the point.)

I think the biggest issue I have with Kevin is that it seems like he has regressed since going to Russia and now playing at River. I thought he would be better.

We need Rios to get his swag back

Love having puerta as an alternative but at the end of the day, a performing Rios is our third best player

Good sign tho; increases our depth with options.

If we continue to plush as many players as possible into doing what is needed, then we will struggle significantly less.

In a world cup like this, yellow cards, injuries, hell just bad games, can cost us any match. Being able to change things up when needed will help in the long run.

Would think we'd play them in Europe unless those teams want to play in US stadiums to prepare.
