The worst part is that, with a little better timing and a firmer hand, that was a relatively easy save.

Ugh.. I hate the Ft. Lauderdale stadium. It is like 1.5 hours each way for me. And it is only 20k seats.
Playing in Queens? That should be fun in what could be freezing weather. Adidas may get to show off the new long sleeve version of the Home uniforms though. A lot of people are saying great things about those. Fort Lauderdale is where I would rather be weather wise.
It’s a quick train ride for me on the 7 train…. John Rocker’s favorite mode of transport (90s baseball reference)
It's kind of insane that we are playing neutral friendlies in the US still, they're openly targeting latinos for arrest and harassment.
Keeping it about Futbol in a Futbol thread (and extending a good faith argument)... ...I think this may be the first time I have ever heard or read someone ask why teams play friendlies in the USA. 1) Money 2) The World Cup is going to be played in the USA. At least the majority of it. 3) It is a place that can bring in other sparring partners than the usual Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador friendlies. 4) Money 5) Money
I wonder if we'll ever see another friendly played in Colombia again Or if we'll ever see another Copa America in South America again.
I can't remember the last time we had a friendly in Colombia. As for the Copa America it really is up in the air. I wont lie that I do enjoy being able to attend rhe games when an opportunity arises.
And you have the amazing ability of thinking that I care about what you think when it pertains to my words. I want an argument, not emotions or weird, obscure stats and heat maps that are not a part of a real argument.
Hey if there's more money in a neutral setting they will keep pushing for it. Tho I am still salty how we couldn't host the Copa America again even shared with Argentina.
Im half expecting the next Copa America to be in the US again They'll come up with another excuse to make it sound politically correct
Well given that Messi is to renew a multi-year contract i wouldn't be surprised. Even so I am considering moving abroad for the next stage of my career; I really want to live in Asia or Europe for the next chapter in my life~
they want a 60 game world cup for 2030.... this is what South America is pushing for. I mean 6.5 spots for 10 teams is insane.... with 12 more teams what do we get 8.5 spots? Why even have qualifiers? Make the last place team of the Copa america play each other. Loser is out of the WC. Winner goes to the play off
Facts are facts, the United States has denied visas to members of the Colombian gov't and their family members, ICE is actively and aggressively targeting Latino communities for deportation. This isn't fear mongering, that's just a reality and not a political statement. The US gov't has actively made it more difficult for Colombians to travel to the United States, raised visa fees and increased denials, the aggressiveness of border agencies have increased massively, travel to the US from Latin America and the rest of the world is down alot due to the risks involved now. Whether someone or agrees or disagrees with if that's good or the motivations doesn't really concern my statement, its just a reality that there are much more difficulties and risks for Colombian nationals to travel to the United States, and even for Colombian Americans there is much more risk if you are not a full citizen to go to a public event like a Colombia game.
