Rueda's team never played good soccer, Lorenzo's team at times played the best soccer we've played since 2014. I think it might be interesting if you compared the squads, if Lorenzo was coaching Rueda's team how would they do? 4 year younger James, Duvan/Muriel Mina healthy and Cuadrado still there. For me the biggest difference is we have much better midfielders who can help James now Rios, Arias and even Castano are a big upgrade to what we had 4 years ago, and midfield is always for me going to be the trump card to control games, generate chances and limit other teams possession and chances too. At the end of the day that's just a hypothetical, based on the hard evidence this team is much better than 4 years ago, even if we've sputtered lately.
If anyone one of us here was coaching Rueda’s team, the results would be better. I am not even saying that to be funny….
It seems unlikely but FIFA is FIFA so you never know. Maybe it can be a Pre-World Cup Warm up instead of typical friendlies or something but I doubt it.
It probably would just be a 1 game knockout tournament over an international break so the maximum would be 3 games for the finalist so it actually wouldn't add much to the schedule, since most teams are playing 2 games during a FIFA window. I have no information to base this on, but the fact that FIFA has a good excuse to get a tournament with Messi, Ronaldo, Yamal and Qatar likely to play against each other they 100% will make this happen, its a dream come true for them to fill their pockets.
father in law already hit me up two Colombia games rumored this year in NY Canada in October and Nigeria in November. Last time I went to a November Colombia game it was vs Brazil. FKING freezing. Neither team barely ran. Still rather see Nigeria v Colombia than Canada. Depends on the Ticket prices. Nigeria V Colombia will def go with my dad and father in law. Canada might take the whole family. Not getting all the kids sick in November then getting yelled at. Why do we play all our friendlies in US? I mean I know its WC in the US next year but I have been to way more colombia games than my rich cousins who live in Barranquilla. Feels like we play more here than we do in Colombia. Italy v Colombia in March maybe hope in NY.... tho again that could be a blizzard so probably not.
that Brazil game in 2012 was a cold one - I still remember that game bc it was Cuadrado’s coming out party. I imagine if they are playing anyone aside Brazil / Argentina / Spain / Portugal / France the game will be in Redbull Arena.
we've played brazil like a million times how do you not get them all confused i can't remember any of them
ur cousins live in Barranquilla they are guaranteed 9 games every 4 years. If you have seen them more times it's because your cousins don't want to go to the games.
