Colombian National team rumors I have heard the last few hours:

    1) Lucumi will not be healthy enough to be called up for the WCQs in September.
    2) Mina also will not be called up cause supposedly he had a bad attitude due to not getting many minutes in the last Copa America.
3)Cabal and Mier will probably be on the next roster.

Cabal and Mier not getting called up at this point would be criminal

add Mosquera to that list. He should get the call up instead of Mina.

what has changed for Cabal other than now being at Juve will be less minutes than last season. If he wasnt good enough last year he isnt good enough this year unless he wins his spot at Juve.

I know you're a busy executive with no time for football but if you can be bothered with at least keeping up to date with the games, you'd see that he's playing for Juve in preseason and he's performing so assuming this continues, he should be called up.

To add to the list of rumors it is being reported that Davinson is having some sort of back issues.
Nothing concrete on how long he will be out though but it is something to keep an eye on.

I have no doubt in my mind he will be called up.
Especially with the additional rumored news on Davinson.

Cabal had a pretty poor game vs atlético tbh. Caused a penalty. But the team as a whole played bad so he wasn't much worse than the others. It shall be interesting to see if he manages to be a starter.

yea.... I mean I saw this game... and they are just preseason games

Just odd to be like nope this guy is behind Fuentes at Junior for LB when he was starting in Italy every game. Now he probably going to be the bench option at Juve and it's like WOW must get called and start over Mojica.

potentially 8 injured players wont be called thats insane

    1.Ospina - so hopefully Mier
    2. Sanchez - Mosquera
    3. Mina(attitude) - Cabal
    4. Lucumi - Mantilla (how he doing in Argentina?)
    5. Uribe - Portilla (should have been at Copa America instead)
    6. Borre - Cassiera (again better player should have been at Copa America)
    7. Borja (is this for injury or just cause he is shit?) - Cucho

Now with transfers that are happening

MAybe we end up seeing Gomez now that he smells of Europe tho guys like that who had recent transfers probably best to let them win spots on their teams

Losing 80% of of CBs is kind of alarming everyone else were subs or shouldn't have been on the team to begin with. Hope who ever does replace Uribe they do really well and take him off the team forever.

Lucumi's injury must have been a lot worse than what we all imagined. I mean his injury dates back to late June and almost 2 months later is he even training?

That is a decent point but he has played a lot in MLS though so he has about as much form as anybody.
