I was wondering if this would pull you in since you mentioned you are in the area. I wish they were playing in Chicago so I could go but neither friendlies or the Copa will be here which sucks for me.
spent a ton when US played Germany last year. Tho I dont think we have that many Colombians for a game vs Bolivia. Hard to get too as well for people in NY that don't have a car. The Amtrak leaves you sort of close to the stadium but would then need to uber there which won't be cheap. Just weird we play in Hartford and not in NY. Would have to be in Pratt and Whitney stadium. Which is super close to me. will have to go to some Colombian restaurants to see if we can spot some of our guys.
CONMEBOL are trying not to play at any of the Copa Venues during Summer friendlies. I assume it is because they want the temporary grass to settle in (for those stadiums that are turf like New Jersey).
I am surprised they're not planning to play closer to where their group stage matches will be. But it would good for them to gain momentum across the country for the fans.
Austin is hosting Copa America matches so that would be a no go. I was thinking about Houston Dynamo's but it is during MLS season so there might be a conflict in that regard. And it is smaller than Connecticut.
It is weird because in the Copa America rules and regulations it says something to the effect that no match can be played that close to the tournament in the same city as a host city (I think a 90 mile radius). However USA is playing the Brazilians in Orlando in June so maybe they could have made another exception.

I still think FIFA heads are going to eventually convince the FIFA Federation council to vote for World Cup every two years instead of four. So that means Colombia will win in 2096 instead!
My Colombian brothers What would you rather take? You can choose only one! A - Winning the 2024 Copa América B - Semi-final run at the 2026 World Cup
Winning a trophy is always important. But by semi-final run you mean that we reach or we get a match at WC semi finals where it's a possibly for us to get to the final?
C winning both if we win copa America beating Brazil and Argentina then we are a favorite to win the World Cup
yeah I look at Morocco and what that semifinals run did for them, I think winning the cup would do more for us
Fair enough. The only problem is just that it's not realistic that Colombia win a World Cup anytime soon. Someday you may win. But that day is still not close. Other than all these rankings I do I do also an extensive analysis on potential future first-time World Cup winners. I plan to create a ranking for that too. Very interesting subject that. I have multiple parameters.....
We get a pk Every game like Argentina did then sure we will be champions in no time we can do as well as Croatia. Which in 2018 should have won but questionable calls at the start of the game gave us a scoreline that made it look like France spanked them
Im in the minority I guess, but I would take option B. So long as we play good futbol and don’t pull a brazil in 2014.
