I'm sure Pinto and Bolillo would find a way and break all their negative records.

They are the true specialists in failure not Wenger

Not sure it would be a good experiment. The media and the fans will not give Carlo much time to adapt to South America so he better be ready to win fast. (Or else.)

I still can't believe we didn't score in 7 games. Rueda didn't miss so many chances. Rueda's stint was bad and had a lot of baffling choices. But the players on the field didn't make the plays either.

No surprise here but JuanFer is not available for the June friendlies due to him still recuperating from injury.
In a recent interview I heard he made it seem hopeful that he will be on the WCQ roster come September assuming he is fit of course.

Take this with a grain of salt since Colombian media usually gets stuff like this wrong but I read that there could be up to four Millonarios players called up for the next pair of friendlies.

Would have been awesome if it were the real callup.

I would rather have Darwin on the list than Pabon though. :ROFLMAO:

Colombian media is speculating similar things I have been pondering the last 24 hours.
Rumor has it If the U20 loses today guys like Cortes, Yaser, Salazar, etc. will be on the Squad for the friendlies in Europe.
If Colombia wins those players will not meet up with the team and other players will be called up instead.
(That is the rumored reason for the delayed callup at least.)

I can totally see that being the case and I HOPE it's true.

But basing that on the delayed call up is just grabbing at straws. The roster isn't delayed. They're usually released about ten days before the matches.
Montero and Llinas are obvious. Possibly Stiven Vega who has returned from injury strong and looked decent in his one appearance for Colombia. Crossing fingers for Cortes as #4.

True. The delay to the public is what they are speculating and players can be sorted and shifted off the roster due to many reasons. Another reason they are speculating is that the Club teams involved in the Cuadrangulares also want their players not to be called up if they advance.

As for the Millios players I hope those three are called up. I have also heard Cortes obviously if he is not in Argentina playing next week. Also Castro's name has been brought up more than Vega.

Looking at the dates, it's not out of the realm of possibility that the sub 20 makes it all the way to the final and some join the SNT thereafter. Tournament ends on the 11th, NT plays on the 16th.

That gets pretty grueling after long seasons + a tournament, but, if it's just to get the kids acclimated to the group, I don't think it's that crazy.

Maybe for the Euro based players to train with the team. With the South American based players having to fly all the way to Europe then go back and possibly play in Cuadrangulares or other domestic competition could be a bit of a burden.

Haha I saw the list and was pissed. Shit roster + Perea said they were calling like 30+ guys. Glad it’s not real

Falcao, James can’t possibly make the Final Cut.
