Outside of non-fifa dates, when was the last time we've been without both Lerma and Barrios? Can't think of a single time that's happened in well over 5 years. This might mean a major change in play. I feel bad for Carbonero and I was super excited to see him. Technically he doesn't need to be replaced. Likely, this means Arias will play on the left while Valoyes continues to play RW. But I'd prefer Arias stays on the right and either Carrascal or Borrero plays on the left. Duran may even get minutes there, too.
I'm surprised he didn't call up Campuzano. He played pretty well during the last friendly call up and covered a lot of DFM ground.
So no Duvan no Alzate and we're still calling up Falcao? Ok was willing to give him a chance but pretty clear this is very likely Rueda 2.0. We're gonna have the same midfield that treats the ball as a hot potato if we keep trying to roll out Uribe and Lerma.
What I think Lorenzo will do. (Not what I want to happen necessarily.) ---------------Vargas----- Munoz--Davinson-Lucumi----Mojica --------------Palacio? ---Uribe -------------------James---------------------- Valoyes----------Santos Borre------------Arias
hope it’s Montero at goal and Cuesta-Lucumi as Cb both these CBs are actually starting and captains of their teams i also see us starting fking Falcao
Your lineup changes can happen. I just think he wants to see Vargas, as he has already seen what Montero can do. Davinson played well and even scored in the last official match so I think he may reward him for that but Cuesta is solid so I will not be surprised to see him out there either. Falcao just is not in shape or in good playing condition and looked decent off the bench against Paraguay so I think that may be his role.
haha if we Lose I agreed to eat kimchi ... my least favorite of all foods it just smells so fking bad. When my wifes mom cooks it I go out for pizza or wings with friends.
