More our sponosors and the president of the FING country saying DUDE you have to get a foreign FING COACH !! That asshole wanted to rehire bolillo. Also what other success? We hadn't been to a WC in 16 years. One a BS Copa America in 2001 and hosted a U20 WC where we didn't have either of the 3 big colombian musicians play. Shakira and Juanes are at every Senior WC and we couldn't get them to come? How about Carlos Vives !!

He won the presidency in or about 2008ish. If you know anything about politics there is a payoff as you go up the ladder. I'm not a Bedoya fan but what I'm saying is that he has a good result during his term which will help his tenure.

¿a quienes sacarian?

He can call 30-50 players if he wants to qualifiers. Many teams usually bring 27-30 players for the 2 game games.

Valdez is going to Junior. I doubt the media there won't be pushing for him to play. I really hope we go with who ever is in better form.

Meza should get called maybe Medina. Also that Zuniga Espinosa kid will be 1st divisiOn.

That Gonzalez kid at Envigado looks like a star in the making for our MF.

More players I would call then players I'd remove. Unless they don't get playing time. Hopefully Abel, Guarin regain their spots

I want to see Izquerido, Meza, Cuellar. Maybe a few Cali kids. I really liked Borre, Candelo and their Lb Fabra.

Tho our NT needs a LB, CM and DM everything else is set. I would love to see us try Balanta at DM. I saw him make some awesome runs at River. If he goes to Italy I wonder where they will place him and how he develops

We mentioned it in another thread. Copa America 2016 is as good as dead. Still no host cities and it was confirmed it was bought with bribes that have yet to be fully paid to Comenbol. Or The US hosting the 100th Copa America didn't seem fishy to people

I def prefer to see our U23 v SNT then use play Haiti or Iran

beinsports and espn said it might be dead. Tho also heard they will show the 2016 trophy at the end of this Copa America. If they don't show it then it's dead

for a cup happening in 1 year you would assume people would mention it

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copa_América_Centenario

No tv deals, venues as of end of May 2015..... just seems weird

As I said in another post Univision spent a lot of money for this Centenario and they do not have rights to the World Cup anymore due to Telemundo.
In the wiki link you posted it says they spent 60 Million dollars.
I bet they are going to try and make this happen until the last second.

We dont need new stadiums or renovations. Nfl stadiums will sell out easily and the tv rights are massive. If Sunil is smart he figures out how to make it happen and immediately show the US is ready to host 2018 or 2022.

People are missing the point, the tournament rights are expensive because the demand exists and sponsors are willing to pay - the crime here is that the federations havent been taking that money and investing in the youth and infrastructure and facilities, etc. they been taking their huge kickbacks and letting traffic and tyc horde enormous profit. This thing run properly could infuse huge money into soccer in the region and over time boost our competitiveness further with europe.

If not 2016, then whenever it makes huge sense to do in the US, the regions stands to benefit so much more from it than half empty stadiums in south america with tics sold for a fraction of the value.

Yeah, the U.S can prepare a tournament like this with only a few months notice and attendance would be better than anywhere in S. America. Hopefully this still happens

The U.S. Football stadiums are not the right size for soccer and some are artificial turf.

This hey we will set it up in 4 months is not going to happen

Also US is not a part of Comenbol they have no business hosting. Mexico also wants to host a Copa America but doesn't even host Copa Oro

U.S. Wants to do what they do withCopa Oro with the WC and a lot of other events. They can't and shouldn't be allowed to host everything

    It can happen.

The 2015 tournament has 9 stadiums in Chile. Between NFL and College football stadiums (that are hoping and praying for something to fill in the seats during the American Football off-season) there are more than 9 stadiums that are with grass (or that can install temporary grass) that are ready to host official matches.
Most Modern stadiums were built with hosting a World Cup in mind.
