It was posted in the FIFA Forum that CONMEBOL is still committed to starting Qualifying this year. Let's see how it all plays out.
Thats bad... i prefer the round robin thing.. South America having so few teams makes it better... but this is the times we live in
There is no way the sponsors or Qatar want it postponed. It ticked off a lot of Leagues to make it into a Winter World Cup in the first place. FIFA is going to dig their heels deep and force this World Cup no matter what happens.
Para mis amigos en EEUU, preparense para pagar para ver las eliminatoria de CONMEBOL. https://t.co/ojJtfuCACX— Juan Arango (@JuanG_Arango) August 17, 2020 goddamit
If it’s 4K and I don’t have to hear Mexicans ill pay as long as it is t crazy. Remember some games in 2013 we’re 50 bucks on pay per view it’s like not paying that to watch us play peru
I might take a hit for a few games but $99 for 18 games? No way!!! I hope that bein or another channel buys the rights and show them even if you have to get more subscriptions....
The poster Socceraction in the Business TV forum is saying that this is true. (He is pretty reliable.) If/when qualifying starts most of the games will be PPV with maybe a handful of matches on Bein/or whoever else wants them. And just to clarify, the 99 dollars is if you want to see all the matches during each match day. I assume if you want to just watch Colombia it will be like 30-40 bucks but I am speculating on that.
$30 for one game?? I didn’t mind paying for games back when JumpTV was doing 2010 WCQ but that was $10 for a game I think
25 seems just about right now that I think of it. One of the matchday bundles is 90 bucks for 4 matches. Individually they will probably be 25 bucks.
This is nuts. If this is happening in a covid era with sparse content for networks to run how on Earth can't they sell this to Fox, beIN or ESPN? Cmon man.
