Cucho should have done better with his chance and with his playing time. That said, at least he made his presence known and was a focal point of some attacks. Suarez was missing in action as he has been most of his matches outside of Venezuela. Only time I remember him doing anything of consequence was when he had a beautiful pass to setup JArias that was deflected wide by a defender.
I'm worried only having two 9s available. Unless we shift into Lucho at 9, which he can certainly do but then you'd really need Carbonero or another wide player to compensate too.
We just need to let Arias play and not sacrifice him on and off the field. At least in the first two games I hope we can.
i hear ya. Part of the problem is we do not fully know the recovery timeline for Cordoba... Given how Nestor and the staff whiffed on James "health" during the France/Croatia friendlies, i can totally see Nestor waiting until the last second and taking Cordoba on a gamble (out of loyalty) and we end up with 25 players ready to play while Cordoba gets a free trip Mexico/USA/Canada
