It really if Colombias going to play a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-4-2 which is more of a 4-2-2-2. How to break the Greek defense. Very excited for the WC and seeing my team debut :)

Regardless of formation our D is made up of

    ------------Ospina------------------
    Zuniga----Yepes---Zapata/Valdez----Armero

MF in either formation will be
    ----------Sanchez------Abel-----------

Depending on the attack if its a 3-1
    Cuadrado---------James/Quintero---------Ibarbo/JAmes
----------------Jackson/Ramos------------(got a feeling Jackson will start if we play this formation)

If we play a traditional 4-2-2-2 that we normally play then
    Cuadrado---------------------------------James
    ----------Teo--------------------Bacca----------

I am also worried about both Teos and Yepes tempers against Greece.

I mean I really hope we win. Team moral needs it and to start off strong. A lost or a tie can hurt us especially after losing Falcao.

Colombia is patient enough to build momentum and counter back with Greece. Their style isn't entirely new to Colombia.

Hallo From Greece. Here we think that Colombia is the strongest opponent so they will try for the draw. The theory is that if you do not lose from Colombia you will qualify.Falcao is a big miss and lucky for us

Falcao missing out is great news for Colombia as he was never going to be fully fit/sharp. At least now they will not have a liability killing their attacks.

You misunderstand; NONE of our strikers are liability for how Colombia plays. Colombia's greatest strength is the midfield and we just happen to have good strikers who can capitalize on their chances.

Many are misunderstanding of how Colombia plays thinking that Falcao carries the weight.

You misunderstand. There was no point in the likes of Rodríguez et al creating chances for a half fit Falcao. It would have ruined your play. At least now you can play as normal with a fit/sharp striker to make runs and finish.

Well even if he was added in the squad, there wasn't a chance for him to start; people think that he would have still taken the #1 striker spot if he was going to Brazil. But in truth, he would be behind the other strikers like Teo, Bacca, and Ramos.

The ideal plan was to let him continue gaining fitness during the group stage and not have to use him at all (maybe a last 5 minute appearances in some games, but not to rely on him).

But Falcao himself just thought that it would be wrong for them to take him compared to a 100% player in case they needed to switch their preferred strikers more than enough times.

I can assure you that if he was in this squad instead of Ramos, he still would not be playing or at least only the very last few minutes of these group stages.

We're prepared. But since he himself will be cheering from the stands (you know, since he's still on recovery he doesn't need to go back to his club at the moment), it's going to bring a lot of motivation.

Columbia get a early goal this could get embarrassing for Greece.

    Columbia 4 Greece 0

Having seen Montero/Jackson/Falcao (SCP/FCP/FCP) interested to see your other strikers Teo/Bacca/Ramos.

Rodríguez at Monaco has been in great form I hear would be good to see him again.

I'm guessing James Rodriguez will kick the only goal for a 1-0 win to Colombia

He's more likely to provide the goal than score it if he keeps up his playmaking consistency.

No rout looking to happen. So far a fluke goal and Greek possession.

Armero is dangerous. Did they officially award him the goal or call it a deflection OG? He should get it.

Colombia had many good players in the pass, but they never have much luck in the WC.
