Disappointing 0-0 draw but kudos to Canada. They played with passion and gave us a challenge. Certainly need to better handle such games. And yeah even tho we hit the post twice, that happens sadly.
When we finally find a 9 he keeps playing borre smh. This was Suarez game. Yasser actually looking ok. Surprisingly he looks less shy in the physical game. He should never have left England and gone to EPL.
This was great few national teams in the world will press as well, hard, consistently, and intensely as these guys do so this was great practice cuz the other teams would punish us better than these guys did
Rios was so bad. the difference once Castaño came in was huge. campaz and serna didnt exactly secure a spot tonight. I though Yaser looked pretty good. the best of the guys on the bubble for sure. gives us speed and dribbling ability and someone who can break away from a high press Portilla probably locked his spot in, although it likely already was.
I do think him getting rough up in the beginning of the game negatively impacted him. It was just not his game.
