Argentina will now be able to call up players from the best leagues in the world.. and FIFA will help them with the "necessary luck" a team needs to win a WC

 

maybe Italy will take more players and leave them with no one by then.

 

Maybe we should start crossing fingers for Catar to host the tournament. They're also interested.

In any case, it'd be kind of ironic if the U-20 WC took place in the summer after the senior one had to be played in December to avoid the high temperatures.

 

do Qatar even have stadiums anymore? Weren't they donated to science or something after the tournament

They are doing the draws for the group stage of the U20 WC right now. Colombia have Senegal again for what feels like the 20th time

Don't know how good New Zealand is this cycle but they were actually pretty darn good last World Cup. We were fortunate not to get knocked out by them via penalties.
But yes on paper Argentina got a gift of a Group for sure.

Love to just get the same group every single WC. Stuff like this is why people say that the groups are fixed

 

Tough Group for us. Not going to candy coat it. Hopefully we can score some goals.

 

If we're judging by the senior teams, this is the toughest group in the tournament. No idea how these youth squads are tho.

That said, only 8 teams get eliminated from the group stage. I like our chances.

 

considering argentina couldn't even qualify to the WC, would be comical if they fail to get out of their group

Israel-Colombia May 21st
Colombia-Japan May 24th
Colombia Senegal May 27th

I do not see times yet but they will probably be something like 4-5 PM EST maybe for our first two slots maybe earlier for the weekend match.

As for TV most games will probably be on Universo Network. Maybe the Senegal match on regular Telemundo. Streaming will be Telemundo Deportes and probably Peacock.
In English I predict mostly FOX Sports 2 but maybe FOX Sports 1 for Senegal. Streaming on the FOX Sports apps. Maybe TubiTV for replays.

 

I am seriously gonna be pissed if Argentina somehow manages to get out of the group stage...yes its an easy group but they shouldn't be at the u20 world cup this cycle.
