Is that the son of Jersson Gonzalez I see?

I enjoyed the way his father played if it is.

Apparently the kid Brayan Gil Hurtado has been playing in El Salvador, got nationalized, and has been praised by El Salvador's DT.

He was a top scorer last year. Good job sealing him up.

Was just about to mention that Gil is half Salvadorean.

Crzd should be happy Reyes called him up.

Haha it will be his ass if kid becomes good and could be on our Snt. Like he is still a green prospect but one to fight for. If he rather be italian so be it. Might be too late to go for him.

I think Poveda wants our team more but Reyes was a douche to both. Also chances of starting for Colombia much higher than starting over Rashford who is super young.

All this kids who can play for multiple teams like the Ecuadorian one. Like wait it out. WhEre can you actually play for and not just get cup tied to.

like any young CB coming to play for colombia seems silly if you have another option. Mina, Sanchez won’t lose their spot for 5-6 years.

if in 2-3 years down the line things change then do it.

like we had a super promising forward line in 2005-2011 for prospects why come to us if you are behind Teo,Falcao,Rodallega, Wason, Jackson, Montero and def forgetting more.

I don't think that's the right move at all. Especially for South Americans. National team credits, from youth to senior level, open a lot of doors for players.

For the kids already based in Europe, declaring later is even sillier. On Germany's current roster there is only 1 dude who hasn't played for their youth teams. For Italy, who just called up 35 players, only 5 don't have youth credits. Half the people on the side have been playing for Italy since they were U 16.

The European teams have a very clear pipeline feeding into the senior squads. If you truly want to play for a country, you start that process ASAP.

Moreover, unless you're a world class player, which most are not, you've gotta earn your way into a National teams starting lineup. The longer you wait, the less likely you are to EVER play for a NT.

Jersson could take a sweet free kick! I remember a Libertadores America team with him and Vivierscas and Castillo.

But then I think of how Jairo Castillo threw away his career in that car accident and it makes me so sad. One of my favorite players ever prior to his injury.

    1) Ferreira grew up in Texas with many kids from the Dallas Youth academy and they are very close. He and Paxton Pomykal play like they read each others minds since they have been playing together since they were like 12.
They want to play together for the USA.

    2) Also, we have to keep in mind that the USA went to him and said hey, you can play for our Sub 23 Olyimpic qualifying squad and for the Senior National team (He played in a recent friendly against Costa Rica).
It would not surprise me to see him make the roster for the Copa Oro roster if the USA does not make the Olympics.

    3) Reyes apparently did not want him. Definitely did not want him for the sub 23.

    That is a relative question.

Is he good enough to make the Sub 20 for Colombia? Maybe, but he has never trained with any of the players.
He was not good enough for the Sub 23 in my opinion, and certainly not good enough for Queiroz for any friendless.

exactly.... I feel Ferreria and Aguedelo got some super quick papers.... I came when I was 3 and didn't get it till 16. Then I see these 17 year olds in the US get it in like 4-5 years.... like damn. Should have been a better player

Ferreira has been living in the USA legally since 2009. I am not sure when the process was started but it is not like he just got here.

Circumstances change when it involves sports, and if you can afford an expensive lawyer, the better. I remember I was quoted 10k for a simple residency for my fiance. This was with a lawyer who was rated average too.

I thought it was free but you get like 3 months to get married?

One of my friends went to Korea for grad school and was engaged. His wife came but had to get married in a specific time period
