Haha man terrible 24 hours for Colombian footy this I expected but not beating Canada to give Borre minutes is inexcusable
I find it funny that I started seeing more and more comments about Neiser yet none of you seemed to really grasp it when I brought it up. At least not until we actually had to face Argentina.
Calvo Velez said this team was not pecho frio and would teach the senior team how things are done right Calvo hp
whats yall theory on this. why are our players so prone to injury? dont tell me bad luck. something with the physical preparation i suspect.
What evidence is there that our guys get more injured than others? it’s just natural to notice yours because we follow them but other teams deal with injuries too. Barcelona is getting pummeled right now for example Madrid still has no right back because theirs are both injured add to that 2 of their CBs
No shame losing to Argentina. Afterall, their shit doesn't stink. Just ask them and they will tell you.
1. Bad fitness habits - not working out properly, not stretching well before and after 2. Diet (eating and drinking) 3. Bad sleep habits 4. Running yourself into the ground 5. Bad luck 6. Not giving yourself time to fully recover from prior injury. in the case of Colombia - we notice it more bc 1. Like J Mezzy said, we, as fans, focus more on ourselves. 2. Since our depth is paper thin, it also becomes more noticeable. If Spain had a midfielder injured, there’s likely someone from Barca or Madrid on the bench ready to go. If Brazil has an injury, ____inho is likely on the bench ready to step in. If Colombia has an injury, our next best option is prolly some random from Atlético Nacional
Yeah, I didn't know he had a yellow already at the time. We clearly missed him, so boring. When are we going to see something new from colombia, im bored as hell of this
This is also irrelevant really but I wish I could have seen Alexei Rojas play at some point. We are good with Jordan but with the U20's over i think it'll be up to him to get playing time somewhere so he can get called up for the senior team
Well the good thing is that the semis promised us at least one more match even if 3rd place; this will be the players' last chance to potentially draw in scouts. Maybe Néiser can secure top goal scorer or something as some form of consolation besides us getting 3rd place.
At least we have the u17 world cup soon in the next few weeks. With this U20 side and now the U17 side about to have their turn, we need to look not only for promising talent for the national team, but to qualify for the Olympics in LA come 2028. If the u17 squad can provide a similar if not better run then we will have very capable mix for the u23 Olympic qualifiers.
i think the injuries are too common in our teams. its not a “bad season” or just bad luck. i think there is still a low sense of professionalism that comes with our players. when James competed at a higher level he was injured often. This could be lack of fitness routine, too much party too much ********ing.
Acting Brazilian, only without the actual success. Lack of discipline is common for these cultures apparently and our players especially show that.
Idk under Lorenzo out core has been James Jfq Lucho Muñoz Arias Rios don’t recall too many injuries. We are just hypersensitive because we notice our own injuries more than others
Injuries didn't cost this game. Foolish cards from hot headed behavior and nepotism did. Villareal is special and I hope wherever he goes he has a real chance to play in the position that flatters him - but that second yellow was brutal because... It's madness Aristi jr. came back out for the second half much less played the whole game. He absolutely cost us the game and didn't need to embarrass himself.
