SA seems like an easy rival but knowing our tendencies i would just wait before we think about quarterfinals smh
this team is fking terrible weak pssy goal vs Nigeria 0 effectiveness or balls to shoot vs Norway the saudis should have challenged the offside call on their sick goal we have been without a doubt awful in a terrible group.
Looks like it'll be Spain in the next round. I wish we didn't have to play them but we got no choice.
xxx1000000000 percent..... how are we that cocky already. SA beat US, mind you with some subs but still, they are not soft
If we can't beat them we don't deserve to be at this tournament. We sure as hell ain't gonna compare South Africa to some of the actual strong teams at this tournament.
Not the way it works in U20. 1. Look at how many U20s actually make it to the senior team and that should give you an idea. 2. Ghana, Ukraine, Russia, Portugal (2x), Serbia --- U20 World Champs 3. Vzla 2017 runner up (Better than ANY Colombian showing ever)
I don't care of their eventual career outcomes; I care about our system improving and opening doors for our players. We can produce capable talent more so than certain nations so of course there is gonna be a ********ing standard. You guys aren't pleased with the group stage results we have and I sure as hell know your expectations is not for us to lose against South Africa of all teams. Because our standards for them has been rising over time. If this team fails against South Africa of all teams this was a bad batch of Colombians who misrepresent us. This is 2025 where we are suppose to improve significantly compared from previous generations. Yes there are bad runs and players representing a nation but there is no excuse for these players.
Yea a lot of you guys think all our players need to be James, falcao level talent….. if all these dude are mid table caliber guys in top 4 leagues in Europe, Mexico, Argentina/brazil that is great or Abel who had a solid career in Europe nothing insane. Feel every sub 20 it’s man we need a 2005 team where 80% make it the the snt national team
LOL. Or Juanfer winning Libertadores and Suraméricanas for clubs playing a position they don't field in Europe and showing up clutch on the NT whenever we need him to... You should read your own posts.
U20 works differently from the regular squad, and a there are a lot of unknowns, that will not happen at the senior level. These guys, for the most part, don't play with top teams or even the grown ups, so scouting is more difficult, the competition they face tends to be easier, and the system has not filtered a lot of impostors. Add to that that the process is a lot shorter, and you could survive on limited runs (I'd say 4 wins in the Suramericano puts you in the WC, and a couple in the WC puts you in semifinals), and you really don't have a true measure of talent. Golden generations happen, but even for countries with solid youth systems, it is atypical to see more than a few U20 players become regulars with the grown up squad. And honestly speaking, there are maybe 4 players in this team that will ever get called up for Copa America or WCQ, and that is the rule for almost any country, so my suggestion is to reconsider how you look at this category and this tournament; if we have a good run and we make it to semifinales, I'll be happy, but if we don't, we have a WC in less than a year, and so much happening around us, that it is silly to get so flustered about anything else.

What a wasted chance...tho maybe a penalty? Edit: yeah its not a penalty. Even then get your shots on target...
goalie has all the rights and he got rid of the ball. Villareal FKING SUCKS !! why did they call a guy who wasn't playing. Worst is you see in his face that he thinks he a fking superstar
