Re: Colombia -- grupo de muerte? este mancito vive obsecionado con el pasado.....esos titulos son muy viejos el futbol tiene otro orden hoy en dia! 2 veces repetiste que si colombia sacaria 9pts...no creo que lo haria tan facil en ese grp A: solo 5 pts (gana a Bolivia y empata 2 partidos mas, creo que con eso y una valla con pocos goles sirve para avanzar a la otra ronda) por ahora uruguay es mejor que colombia, mejor resultado en la ultima copa america, nos ganaron el partido en Montevideo por el derecho a repechaje vs aussies y en casa hace 2 semanas......ojala avancen para un posible rematch!
Brazil out of the tourney in the first round!!!! Remember you heard it here first guys. I think USA will be a surprise , Argentina will play the most attractive but could collapse under the pressue to need to win the tourney, Mexico will be the bust, and so will Brazil.

Re: Colombia -- grupo de muerte? Yo diria que colombia es tan malo como Uruguay (es lo mismo, pero suena mas fuerte) Los dos han tenido actuaciones flojas en las ultimas dos eliminatorias, prediendo puntos de local, que al final le costaron la clasificacion a ambos.

Actualmente, Colombia es mucho mas que Uruguay y tiene una defensa llena de jugadores muy solidos como Rivas,Bedoya,Perea,Yepes,I.Cordoba... Ademas, el mediocampo esta compuesto por un bombardero ex campeon de la Libertadores-Viafara y el 7 pulmones del Internacional Fabian Vargas. Despues tienen una delantera llena de opciones con el volante creativo Pino y Rodallega ademas de Oviedo, Rey, Falcao y Juan Pablo Angel.
No, tampoco para tanto. Al fin de todo, fue Uruguay que fue al mundial del 02, fue Uruguay que gano el puesto de repechaje, y fue Uruguay que nos gano en la semifinal. Estamos tan "bien" o tan "mal" como los Uruguayos. Potencial, hay mucho.
Hay un jugadorazo del Colo Colo-Giovanni Hernandez que tiene una vision muy buena de juego. Aunque es un poco flojo y desconcentrado algunas veces da unos pases excelentes. Aunque Colombia esta llena de jugadores en su posicion creo que igual deberia ser tomado en cuenta, creo que ya jugo por la sele unos anhos atras.
giovanni has had countless opportunities to prove himself and he hasnt done it yet with the national team. i read in el tiempo, he wants to come back to the NT, how many more chances are we going to give him. he isnt better than tressor or soto so i think he should be done with the NT
Contra River, en todo caso, el loco se hizo humo... con razon lo tienen marcado con plumon rojo en Colombia. En la seleccion se necesitan jugadores que aparescan en los momentos importantes.

Pibe unfortunately you are right, although it seems that tressor has his position in the national team cemented he does not deserve it. He has loads of skill but he has no team work capability he rather try and take on the whole opposition, even if he knows he will lose the ball,than pass. Maybe putting some pressure on his position by bringing some hungry players that can replace him would make him perform better bcuz last game against uruguay he and elkin murillo were the 2 worst colombian players.
i hate tessor moreno lets get that out of the way he is inconsistent and not a NT player tho he was a 10 and the best player for colombia in the game against Ecuador,Peru but thats it... tho I think that Colombia preformed better as a whole because that is when Elkin Soto was put in the team for the 1st time and the once caldas trio of soto,viafara and tessor played very very well togehter. He isnt a team player and is too inconsisent. He didnt have 1 good game in all copa oro, or last copa america. He is an amazing player but sometimes just doesnt even try. tho last game he was put as a striker and he is usually amf for us, he and Elkin did suck it up tho. I think if we had started wit Falcao and Rodagella up at front with Ospina or Zapata as our goalie then it would have been a different story.
i know one thing, he was very inconsisent in the away games. he didnt do anything against uruguay and paraguay at the end of the qualifiers. and he didnt play against chile at home because of the yellows. i think that game would of been the real test, to see what tressor could of done instead of pacheco, who was completely lost
