College Profs. Protest More Than Their Students

    Let's say that there's been a certain ho-hum attitude about this war among the student population around the country. Liberal profs. are more into protesting it and their students either don't care or don't support these professors. It seems that young people are a bit more security conscious post-9/11 than their elders which is somewhat surprising. From the NY Times:

    From my experience going to school, (Virginia Tech) most students there didn't care about much beyond what bar they were going to over the weekend, the football team, and maybe their grades. The faculty wasn't exactly active either though.


    I should point out the VT was not a "commuter" school.
