ESPN Page 2 "What's hot, what's not for College Football" http://espn.go.com/page2/s/hotnot/030828.html Damn, we have been jinxed.
Re: The Dawgs are pounding !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! poor thing. you will be wanna be euthanized about 11pm est on saturday night after your poor little huskies find out what a real defense and running game looks like. trying to throw to reggie with gamble blanketing him isn't going to work...i got news for ya.
my favorite: Game-day eye candy Hot: Women's soccer car-wash fundraiser Not: Sorority second favorite: Retro jersey to be seen in Hot: Kirk Herbstreit Not: Charlie Ward
Re: The Dawgs are pounding !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If Washington could actually run the ball, the game would be halfway interesting. But you can't win by throwing the ball alone. It may be close for awhile and then OSU will pull away late.
NIU 20- Maryland 13 Does anyone know what NIU stands for? Neches Independent University is all I could come up with. Anyone...anyone....anyone....
Re: Re: The Dawgs are pounding !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, without Clarett, I think the Buckeye run game is not as strong. I think the game will be closer than people might think.
Another ACC school lost last night. Georgia Tech-13 BYU-24 (not Baylor some Mtn. West school) ACC 0-2 Keep up the good work.
Re: Re: Re: The Dawgs are pounding !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he, he. come on andy, even you know that the two back-ups at ohio state could start at about 90% of the schools in the country...including at washington and they are running behind one of the best offensive lines in the country. this game will be close for the first 20 minutes and then right before the half, ohio state will turn it up and the second half will be a laugher. i think it will mirror the ohio state/washington state game from last year...close and then the buckeyes pulled away.
I think that ACC showed quite convincingly last night that they are the rising powerhouse conference in college football. Well, that is, if you think that the MAC and the Mountain West Conference are also powerhouse conferences. Farewell, QPR Kevin H. We'll be looking forward to hearing from you again once basketball season starts. Which is too bad, because I was looking forward to your touting BYU on the strength that they beat Georgia Tech, who's won a national championship since the last time UT did. And Northern Illinois, too. They beat Georgia Tech last year.
I'll eat crow in the smack thread. No injury excuses, pass interference - a top 15 team should win that game. The Terps are not that yet. But we started by laying an egg last year - then going 11-3 which I'll take nearly every year. Props to NIU for turning around their program. And no matter the banter back and forth - you know you'll be behing Maryland next week in Tallahassee. A win there and we're back on track in the ACC.
Troy state is a nothing college in Troy, Alabama. Really rural, really small. I think they just became D-1 a few years ago.
Last year Sooners-37 Bama-27 This year (w/ home advantage) Sooners-31 Bama-23 Bama also with loses to Georgia,Auburn, and Tennessee. Just a prediction.
isn't maryland fixin' to go on probation? and in any case. ralpf the coach is unbelivably fat. i'm a sooner fan and i'm glad we have a slim good looking coach. u can't have your university being represented by a fat ass
Re: Re: The Dawgs are pounding !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dude, you better laugh at the expense of the DAWGS now, while you still can. The Dawgs aint got nothing to lose in Columbus, but you buckeyes are! The game will be on......... .....The Championship Television.
they couldn't even score when they were at home against usc. pathetic, they stopped running the ball way too early. ranked 6th in the nation? what a joke.
Alabama might be 1-1 next Sunday, but man, they beat South Florida's brains out today. 40-17. 33 unanswered points and South Florida didn't score in the 2nd half.
And take THAT Van Pelt, you little CSU punk......all that crap you were talking bit you in the ass (granted, Van Pelt had a great game individually).
